I have noticed an odd bug since I started playing again (Orks finally!). After 2 or 3 matches, I start to get this constant ringing sound. It's not loud, but it is incredibly irritating. About that time, sound starts cutting out in places. If I continue to play after that, the game will eventually freeze and I will actually have to shut my computer down to recover. Anyone else getting this? EDIT: This is not exclusive to Orks, I got the same thing when I played with Eldar. Also, I find it ironic that when I finally get to play Orks, they make the Heavy Bolter good...
It's coming from melee power weapons. Equip the electrified Ork axe and it'll become that much more apparent. If i get tinnitus from this I'll be marginally upset.
I already have tinnitus and thought it might be that at first ha! But yeah I also have the same issue with the ringing and it's incredibly annoying. Mostly use the electric choppa so guess I'm screwed!
the sound bug i get is everyones guns sound like the predator sponson bolter. the games now freezing up fo 10-30secs for no apparent reason around twice every game now, the fps doesnt dip it just freezes and starts agian usualy with me being dead. (torias map mostly)
Having the same problem but with power weapons, warp powers, and heavy/storm bolters. gonna set the game down till it's fixed to avoid serious headaches
This bug's still there, and it's irritating as hell. That constant *beeeeeeeeeeeeeeep* sound is disturbing, and after a few minutes of it, all sounds seem to melt, I hear bolt when I throw plasma, and though there is nobody around I hear people slashing their knives or healing, and finally a constant heavy bolter firing sound before a freeze.
