And? Why are you getting so furious at something that won't affect your gameplay? If kids wanna play Smurfs then let the kids play them. Especially if it seems that GW don't really care.
my concern is that now look like all is allowed but then when GW censorship will probally come people will get angry and mad for a lack of guideline (that all game have) about guildname and playername have.
You're entitled not to be bothered by it, just as others are entitled to be bothered by it. The thread has been fairly civil so far, lets try to keep it that way - its an issue that's worth discussing as there are passionate views on both sides.
Regardless, people complaining in this thread because they don't like the choices of others won't change a thing. Just wait till the developers give a ruling on it.
That's a good argument. Keep in mind though that according to Kate (from what she's heard so far) names taken from the lore seems to have been given thumbs up by GW already, but that Behaviour will take a look at it from their point-of-view. We'll see how this all ends up. Personally I really don't see a problem with people calling themselves 'Emperor' or whatever. I can just do a /ignore and move on with my life.
If the argument is "It's against immersion" yet the very same people doesn't seem to have a problem with the possibility of there being 100.000's of Space Smurfs on a planet, nor the possibility of there being more or less an alliance between Space Smurfs and Spiky Space Smurfs.... I actually agree with him. Plus I'd think there'd be more acute things for GMs/Devs to worry about.
I don't think GW were ever a real issue - that they have no fundamental objections to people in-game using names from any GW lore was exactly the same stance they took with WAR. The decision as to what to restrict and why was left to the developers. Not many voices here are arguing for full blown restrictions on anything mentioned in the lore, or unnecessary restrictions being placed on guild or character names. Taking the name Wolf Brothers or the Twisted Blades is unlikely to cause grumbling. They're lesser known chaos warbands - their colour schemes aren't even confirmed. However, calling yourself Iron Warriors when a large chunk of players will be entering the game as...err...Iron Warriors, is in a slightly different category. There are logical reasons to restrict use of the exact name of factions/sub-factions and NPCs built into the game itself, even if that's all that's restricted.
