Thank you everyone, I like your enthusiasm and your professionalism! If you feel some post do not follow the code of conduct, you can always use the 'report' features. If you get reported and you didn't respect the code of conduct, you will earn warning points, displayed on your profile page. Depending on how many points you earn, you will get temporary or permanently banned. Gush this is a depressing topic.... Use the features wisely, if you do report someone for no reason, you can also earn Warning Points for wasting my time. I have to say that so far on 9,938 messages we have to dealt with only 11 reports. Quite impressive! Many of you ask if they could help us with the community management. Yes you can, we will post how next week. In the meantimes, you will have to tolerate my bad english.
What about using reporting for movement of topics? It's not a report per-say but more to get your attention about a thread that is not in the appropriate place. I am in another similar forum to this one (appears to be the same forum template), and we are requested to use the report feature to help the Admins/mods as well as actually reporting posts... I'd hate to do that here just to receive warnings myself, so just wondering.
Don't worry, I wont be trigger happy with the warning system. Yes you can report a thread that is not in the appropriate place and no one will get hurts.
I hope that we won't really need to report others all the time, I mean most of the people on this forum are friendly and nice. (Well the ones I've talked to). But I will keep this in mind. Thank you.
Very discreet of you. But I'm pretty sure community management involves other roles apart from moderator.
Plzbanme for Moderator 2013. I have experience as a mod on steam and the official non-steam forums. Starforge is the game and I am use to working in a team.
