Remove/balance Stealth mechanics.

Should Stealth be removed?

  1. Yes, and never introduce it again. There is enough tactical options to flank and surprise enemy.

  2. Yes, and reintroduce is later for all races with counters like detectors.

  3. No, but introduce counters and stealth classes for all races.

    Stealth is bad mechanic for multiplayer and if introduced it need to handled carefully. Few games get it right. For most it's really fun for people using it and just frustrating for the receiving end. Stealth is unhealthy as person in stealth can ignore many things others can't like finding cover, travelling open spaces or best one atm, capping points on stealth. Not to mention, atm on low settings there is no way to spot stealth enemy. Also bonus dmg from stealth is just wrong. High reward should carry high risk. Stealth lowers risk and rewards at the same time. How is that good on balance side?

    Eldar already posses ground melee class so Striking Scorpions are redundant to fill that role. Stealth is extremely powerful tool that only Eldar posses atm. It's not good for balance or healthy gameplay. Most people hate playing against them for many reasons. When games are more frustrating then fun people quit and that is not good for future of this one.

    If you ever played any online game you would know that it's not fine. Latest nerf is a proof of that.

    Stealth is fine, it's been fine since the Gather Shadows Invisibility Spell in Everquest 1 back in 1997.

    If you can't handle being killed by a sneaky space elf ninja in a green Body Glove suit then you have no place in the grimdark of the future!

  8. Striking Scorpions aren't that hard to detect really. It's not like it's invisibility. On top of that, they are straight up worse fighters toe-to-toe than any other melee class. Having played plenty of games with "rogues," this game has one of the more balanced versions I've seen.

    Correct me if I'm wrong, I think this is the first "Stealth OP plz nerf" thread I've seen. Goes to show there is absolutely no outcry from the community.

    There is already a counter to it. It's called "use your eyes".

    No serriously, I can't remember if I ever saw a multiplayer game with a better stealth system than this one.

    I can understand the problem of always being on your guard is a pain in the ass but that's all.
    It can even be a pain for the scorp facing guilds group in match. Where they absolutly can infiltrate.

    While stealth can be used and abused, here not only does it look awesome on Scorpions it actually plays great and is not OP cause anyone with half a brain looking for you will find you.

    Surprisingly good aspect of BE development and implementation of it.
