Power armours just completely ruined it was 120 across the hole thing grate but now it's up down up down rubbish power armour is power armour fix it
I play it like how I played my Khorne Berserker, calm collected and picky and it works rather well for Shield Bro, TA and Scorpion, you can't just yolo anymore like a retarded ... I mean normal Space Wolf Don't mind Thraxus, he went tactical all game while preaching the doom of Melee like he was a priest from Skyrim
Seem to be some randomness abound. I've noticed several bugs that make the game clunky. Rps seems less "correct" now. I clang off power attacks too often, d bash stopping power attack more etc. Sometimes your fast attack lunge does no travel. Had a ton of knife and knuckle wiffs due to no lunge. Oh and weapons that charge will sometimes not charge. Meaning no blue charge up circle on kannon but still does charge animation but can't fire.
With power armour so messed up I dunno how much longer I can force my self to play this joke of a 40k game this pach has bin coming for over 5 weeks and now it's killing the game I'm finding it so hard to force my self to play it like this I mite just stop till the power armour is back to normal agen
I've been doing alright with it to be fair. Using CSM TA and raptors to (mostly) good effect. Even got a khorne berserker build complete with just a basic chain axe whose been tearing a new one out of all the factions. It's a bit tougher; but it's not impossible. Even though I've managed to run/fly around all night (except for a brief stint on Agnathio B..), chopping and hacking with about as much success as before - I've learned a few things. The need for melee is more situational than it was - it's still possible to do good work but it takes a little more thought and timing. If you like to run off on your own to sneak caps while no one is looking - ranged is a more sensible choice. I'm quite liking the gameplay - it'll need the patching they're working on, but overall it's made me have to step up my game when risking assault classes. Sorcerers are damn squishy though. Oh and friendly fire..don't get me started on friendly fire
I think the lower TTK is to blame for that. Before most times anyone crossed a teammate's line of fire they had time to react, now everyone needs superhuman reactions and 360 degree situational awareness. Apart from the lower TTK making the game a twitch fest and boring box humping game, the friendly fire is another reason why the TTK needs to be slowed down. I want combat that lasts more than 1 or 2 seconds.
There's no point going melee whatsoever..... For all intended purposes you can outskill your target with a knife. You can take a bolter instead....and be great at both range and melee combat. It's a nobrainer choice. I still play melee, with my traitor...Melta gun + plague knife. Easy mode all day long. You can also follow the current fashion tendency....to melee with a storm bolter. Pew pew Dbash....discharge your clip. ( wait i mean 4 shots )
Gork hates this patch but Mork adores it. You can't charge in anymore now you gotta slink about like some kommando git. I do loves Morkin' dem unsuspectin' grots doe.
