They are called 'early backers items' they come on a '' first come first served'' basis. Why is it unpractical of me to want to stick to the deal's structure and nature,that the Dev came up with in the first place? It's like going to a store and asking them to offer you a discount for an item that was on sale a week ago,you missed the sale,it's that simple. It's always going to be like this with mobas/mmos/kickstarters/etc. As long as you live in the world of dlc's,preorders and cashgrabs,there will be a certain measure of ''reward'' for people who 'back' projects. You see it all the time,on every forum of every game that ever had a 'limited' or 'exclusive' reward. People tend to come and ask for those rewards and items,long after they've become unavailable or unobtainable. I can understand the frustration or annoyance that entails,but i respect your opinion even though i don't agree with you.
You're right, you see them all the time and many of them end up in the game eventually. All. The. Time. Happens VERY often. Oh that special mount you get if you do X and only X. It eventually made it into the store. That pretty dress you could only get if you X, well you can get it with in game coin now. Some people see it as a slight to them, when in reality, they were simply around at that time, when in truth, the amount of population for this game isn't even here yet, so we'll see what they do. I could care less either way, just pointing out that there isn't anything new under the sun (or gaming) and if they eventually decided to fill up their online store down the road with founder relics, it isn't a terrible thing for the game.
A bit miffed I only decided to chose to get the "SPACE MARINES - RELIC LIMITED EDITION: FENRIS PATTERN POWER AXE MARK I" (so awesome) Wanted to get the Bolter too but I decided against it at the time Especially with how slow and unreliable power axes are, I'll prolly only use power / chain swords. Saying that I probably wont be using bolters. Will see. Not too fussed with ranged. As far as I recall these limited edition items are limited to a certain population percentage due to lore. If the percentage increases then its still possible for more of these to become available.
