    ha!
funny you should mention that, it still has the BETA logo on screen, eternal beta if i ever seen one.

    Those games are doing fine?
    ehr...okay.

depends what game we are talking about.
i havent done a beta in some time, last one was "epic quest for loot" or something along those lines, it was a funny concept, was couple of months in beta, no idea if they made it.
this game needs longer than 5 weeks imo because the state it is in now has little to do with assets and everything with gameplay.

no need for apologies, even if it was directed at me id be okay with it.
just wanted to have clear that i didnt think you were delusional or a fanboy.

    so edgy!
you are right we cant see in the future, therefor it is completely impossible to indentify patterns based on earlier events.
if we could the possibilities could be mindblowing...like..governments could have economic policies...or police departments could train people that could like profile specific type of perpetrators, we could have people who called emselves mentalists and play tricks on the minds of their audience...but alas, these fantasy things are reserved for scifi since we can not develop doctrines based on probable outcomes, human beings being completely unique and mysterious, there's just no telling what they will do in common situations.
  3. I'm sorry, but I just have to call some serious bullshit right here. I don't even know how many layers this system needs to go through, but I know for sure that it needs a randomization seed generated off some sort of player statistic (XP or level probably); it has to check certain loot tables to see what is available; and then needs to save itself to the database after generation and a successful unlock based on tokens (or so I've read in this thread).

It's definitely not just a UI feature that can be made in a single day, and if you seriously think you can do it in a day, I say get over to Montreal and have them hire you because that would certainly be a miracle that only you could pull off. But you still couldn't account for all the issues you'd have after implementation, and as we've seen with certain systems--some of which have been implemented for approximately 10 months--they just can't iron out certain issues with persisted testing and passes.

Until this week we didn't even know what the issue was with the founder's weapons. Some had them and a good majority did not have them. As it turns out, it was a database issue or so I've heard--the same database everything else relies on. If someone couldn't write a sql query to determine who consumed certain packages on this website, I'm supposed to believe that this new major feature with more moving parts will work perfectly? That does not add up. It's definitely more than a moderate issue--it's a major issue.
  4. Damn, 23rd seems close... a little to close to get this polished and ready for launch i feel...
I mean, if we look at how frequent patches came, there will be 2-3 more patches until we release?
And while i believe in Bhvr... thats not a lot of time for:
    • More Weapon Mods
    • Character Appearance costumization
    • More PvP Maps
    • More PvE Maps
    • WorldMap
    • Veterans / Elites
    • Warlord
    • Warlords-Powers
    • Guilds
    • Lootboxes
    • More Rouge-Trader Weapons
    • Still missing Banshees
    • Space Wolves
    • Iron Warriors
    • Vehicle Pay System (is this scrapped too?)
    • Vehicle Costumizations (and this?)
    • Missing Chaos Powers
    • Missing Warlock Powers
    • Missing Wargear
    • Missing trinkets
    • And, because of all the things that get added: BALANCE
Of course, some of this may be obsolete allready, but there is also stuff that i forgott about in my 1 minute brainstorm.

I for myself can't look into the future but... this is a very tight timeplan... :/
And i would prefer this game to be a success, and not a framework on release. Whatever Nathan said "It's just a button we press on steam! Just another day of work!" It's not. As soon as EC does not have the Early Access Flag any more, they also have no shield against negative Critique any more.
And if the game doesn't hit at launch... i see a grim dark future for it :(

Being realistic, if the game doesn't sell well and doesn't hold a community over a long period of time, the devs will be forced to move on to a new project.

They won't want to do it, but there won't be a profit in it.
They can make as much DLC and cosmetic purchases as they want but if people don't like the game enough to buy them then it just isn't going to be worth the time they spend working on it.

    I could be wrong, but I have a feeling I won't be.

Also, lets try another thought process.
I can assure you all that they wont be putting as much effort into the game once it releases. 90% of the profit they're gonna get from this game will be in the first week. After that they might leave a handful of guys working on some small things while the rest move on to another project.

I really wish that any game succes could be granted just couse noone cares about money couse it is fun to play. But it isn`t like this.
And also we can say everything is alright couse the game have potential as long as it is in alpha. In a month people who will buy it will not think if this game have potential but will post reviews about what they will get for they cash. If they will be bad noone will care about potential.
This is base of every bussines. You have to try look just at step further and care about finances.
I also play it couse it is fun and still I see it have potential. But if they will not turn its potential into something real I afraid your and my enjoyment from playing it will mean nothing.

Yes... lets just make the big love post to devs. "Ohhh come on. yeah, most of us is concerned about release date but there is nothing to complain about". Let`s just turn the whole forum. Who the hell needs "general dissscussions".
    Lets just have;
    1 repot bugs
2 say how much do you love the team (caution - complaining will couse bans)
I`m following this thread since a start. Read every single word. Can`t remember if anyone said something about giving it negative review.
