  1. Yes you might be right and it maybe not even the direct balancing piece which bothers me, as the game is balanced asymetrical anyway, so the Orks could get some sort of Megadread, etc. However, I am just not sure as it feels like too much for me. I would be happy to have a Contemptor (especially a Chaosversion)

It could be done together with the other limited stuff in the limited Pre-Heresy sell which comes seperate from the Founders Pack Pre-Launch
I really don't believe that they are that stupid, especially the purists, I think they know what the don't like.
And even if, provocing is never the right way for a Devolperteam :D

As Galen said I wans't talking about a simple skin, as the Devs dont like simple skins, and a Contemptor would be over the top as it is as better than a normal Dreadnought, as the Landraider is than a Predator.

In the End I come to the conlusion: Contemptor (and other Pre Heresy sh*t[it ain't really sh*t, as it is better than anything]) only together with the announched Pre Heresy Armour in the Pre-Launch chash shop with limited ammounts. Everything else is beyond me :D
  2. I wouldn't mind Contemptor dreadnoughts, honestly. If their Requisition price is balanced, there would be no reason to complain.

  3. I just think it is not the best to lock it for founders, maybe I didn't state myself clear enough
  4. Galen Galen Arkhona Vanguard

People who trust devs should be rewarded ...people who doubt the devs should be executed by the nearest commisar for their lack of faith:p
  5. Personally I'd like to see NEW vanity or aesthetic items for my character on a monthly or bi monthly basis available for purchase in the store. I think it's critical to be able to equip these "skins" over your characters equipped battle gear. So if my character is wearing a Master Crafted Armor set, and I purchase a Pre Heresy vanity armor set skin, the vanity armor has no stats(so were not creating Pay to Win), but the skin can be "equipped" over my Master Crafted set.

I'd also like to be able to mix and match different armor pieces or trophies on my character, so these skins should be a "piece by piece" type of deal.

I'd also like to see several different skins for vehicles available in the store. Special paint schemes, sandbags or armor skirts added to your tank, corpses tied to the bumper of your Trukk, ect. It would be awesome if you could have 2 separate "vanity equip slots" for paint schemes(slot 1) and vanity accessories(slot 2) to your vehicles. So players can mix and match their paint schemes along with what vanity accessories they have adorning their vehicles. The vanity accessories would have zero effects on the vehicles stats or combat capabilities.

***It would also be extremely awesome to be able to see how the DLC vanity gear in the store looks on your actual in game characters and vehicles, prior to purchasing. I'm assuming the store is going to be linked to your account, so this shouldnt be too much of a hassle.***

I want this as well, GW2 does it right now.
Its basically a skin you dawn on your current gear, not losing the stats of the original gear in the process.
Problem being though, is that they want certain items to be represented on the character so the enemy knows simply by looking at him what he is capable of.

One thing we were shown by Steven on his phone in that Twitch stream was some sort of a knee guard thingy that (and i dont recall fully, going off memory) boosted your running speed or something like that.
And there was clearly an intent to visualize things for enemies to have a clue as to what the other side can do to them.

This sadly clashes with yours and my desire for skins being dawned at will, cause those visual cue's will possible be lost by making skins interchangable.
  7. I think this could still work, if you had requirements for certain vanity items, tied to your characters class and progression status. ie "this skin is only available to the assault class, Space Wolf Chapter", or "this skin is can only be equipped when a player is acting as Squad Leader".
  8. Why? Just why?

    I speechless.
  9. This is a concept used by PS2 too. It means, that (for Space Marines for example) terminators and scriptors are only avaibble on cooldown, as are the heavy suits in PS2.

  10. I was talking about those being in the founder store. I'm still processing the whole "classes and weapons in the founder program" thing.
