Sorry to say but EC dosent like guilds queuing with 10 man squads even. Was in queue for more than enough time to watch about 5-6 new games kick off without us getting a single chance. Need some semblance of priority queue :/ Else just remove concept of guilds and premades for a multiplayer "MMO". How much QQ do I need to raise before this gets looked at
Mwa ha ha! My penchant for solo playing the least represented factions is paying off! You may win your game, but I'll play more of them!
Are you playing as LSM by any chance? If you are, change factions and play as a group, you will likely get a game in <1 minute. The idea of full guilds going against PUGs has been hotly debated in the past and I stick by saying that it's fucking dumb having premade, organized, communicating full teams vs PUGs with no VOIP and possible language barriers. I can think of no comparable games where full teams can go against unorganized pub players in the standard game mode.
I am playing as loyalist wiff my guild and I completely understand the pug vs nonpug...but thankfully that is a dev headache also regarding VoIP, I am not so sure how it will make it to live... given our special talent for heaping salt. May require extensive moderation and I am not sure how that will happen
If you are comfortable enough with the idea of completely destroying a PUG with a premade, then you should be equally comfortable with the queue times of premades. I can understand the wish to play as an organized group, but be honest: do you feel challenged at all by crushing PUGs? Is it wins you're looking for, or an exciting battle? The chances of premades facing each other should be pretty slim at the moment. How about splitting up into smaller squads?
My examination of the wait times for guilds especially loyalist is that since they are the most numerous. I play chaos against lsm all the time and most games are full or have minimal slots avaiable to join so that being said if you are queing with 10 people unless the game just started and doesn't have anyone in it you will have to wait for a brand new match to start that way you guys are in it first As for the other factions we arnt nearly as numerous so the wait time is reduced
Most guild cancer do just want to smash PUGs though. As for OP, if you don't like queue times then you'll have to play something besides LSM. Long wait times are the consequence of one faction having 50 or so percent of all players in the game. Conversely, you will pretty much only be fighting LSM as whatever other faction you pick for that reason. This will continue until populations somehow become less disparate.
Matchmaking. There's basically no worse deal in this game than being thrown undermanned into a match against a War Party. You have to wait because it has to get enough players to face you, and now they can choose what game they deploy to so it is what it is. Better you wait for your probable victory than large groups of other players not quitting in frustration at not even having a chance at victory due to having currently poor communication options as well as being outnumbered. That's a good way to ensure everyone has trouble finding games.
