i think the fact that you cant copy your code without selecting a portion of the url really shows how little effort the programmers put into the referral thing lol. i would have used the link to create a cookie and then just get the cookie during signup.
It makes no sense, cause the people actually do receive the benefit from using a referral link, it's only the person who gave the link who gets nothing.. got a few people registering already so now i'm screwed? they better fix it, and retroactively toobecause it really isn't a good start. You can't be ready to sell founder packs and stuff for hundreds of dollars and have even simple things like these not working.. you just can't.
So I have had several people use referral link, they create account, but never get the account activation email needed to actually buy a Founders pack. I emailed CM about it.
Gave my code out a bunch, I would hope that i get credit for it. I have gathered atleast 10 players to the game with my link. Haven't gotten a single refferal come through on my account though.
I think its a number base, so you might need more than 1 or 2 friends, but I do think we need a dev to clarify.
nope i had one friend use my link and not buy founder's and that referal came up, remember you have to claim them in the same are you claim the founder's pack after purchase, he used the link. however i know at least three others inputed the code manually and while they got the 4000 points, i did not recieve the recruitment points nor the 4000 points per member who used my refferal. so yeah an admin/developer would be appreciated here on how they intend to rectify this as it's a one time ting registering.
