I bet a bunch did actually. Shooters always have winning faction bandwagoners. Some people only care about numbers without understanding the reason for those numbers.

Yeah, over in Planetside 2 we had something we called the "faction of the month", where basically all the new and inexperienced players would flock to the faction that was currently perceived as "the best" or that had some new toy or gimmick that wasn't quite balanced yet, it happens from time to time in these kinds of games and I'm sure once other factions seem to do better to them they'll jump ship again over to those.
I have noticed the very scale up of toxic attitude come out of nowhere, and I don't think it's new Eldar players per say, I think it is the rotten apples from another faction either trolling or just looking for a slice of victory which I can understand. But they have brought their crappy attitude with them. Thing is, if they aren't winning here, they will head off to Chaos which I'm surprised they didn't go to first, and I don't even wish the bad attitude affliction upon them. In reality, I am finding that it would just be better for all if they removed global chat all togather. The reasons it is there I'm sure is being heavily overshadowed with hate at the end of games. You can't even say gg at the end of a game without some vile respite at you. So just get rid of it, then we won't have to deal with the hate in game, just on the forums.
Ooooh , sure it's because I'm playing a marine melta, melting all the eldar transports... as the LSM should do more! Until some marine says anything inapropiate to eldar players, then I switch back. [/feeling important] Also... Do you remember all the rage when eldar did things that they shouldn't with their vehicles? All the other factions should have unlocked their weapons, more mods and the new players probably are not so "new players" now, too
See this is a perfect example of a toxic community member. He shows up just to spew shit for no reason while making it sound like it's the players fault. To bad they don't treat your forum account like your drivers license, so stupid stuff like this and you get demerits taken off until your revoked for a year. I positive we would see less of this.
