Pretty much, also helps that one of the Repentia's Acts of Faith (either just in Soulstorm, or also on Tabletop) was basically minor invulnerability/Feel No Pain so they could take a few shots without dying in droves. So between heretics crapping themselves immediately and being in such a religious fevor it manifests as a personal Void Shield, yeah, pants to be darkened.
By your logic chainswords should also use up fuel and break (oh wait.. we already have durability and its god awful). Its meant to be used against light armored foes. If we're talking about the original chainswords during dark age of tech, then thats a different story. 40k-chainswords are depicted fine, only problem is sound and effects. This.
Yeah, but with a much stronger engine, tighter chain and stronger materials, meaning you could strike with it.
Currently in the TTG, all Sisters of Battle, including their tanks, have an invulnerable save by default. The current Repentia Act of Faith, as I recall, lets them attack after all other participants have struck blows, even if they died earlier in the combat. Also Repentia are kinda useless, their lack of armor means they die before ever reaching the target. To be honest, I'm gonna drop the point I was even making to begin with. I was gonna prove that chainswords exist for the reason I said they did, checked every relevant article on Lexicanum and the standard 40k Wiki I could think of, it appears that in WH40k, melee weapons have simply always been a part of combat and chainblade weapons are simply the step in weapons evolution between steel longswords and power swords. There were also references to the weapons clashing with each other during combat. I don't know why I believed so strongly that what I said was the origin of Imperial chainswords. Probably at some point I tried to figure something out using logic regarding their operation, came to the conclusion that that was why they were made after finding out Orks were one of their main opponents, and the conclusion I drew eventually cemented itself as fact. Wouldn't be for the first time something like that happened either. I take it back. I was wrong. The standard depiction of chainswords as slashing weapons is likely lore-accurate.
Don't think too hard on Warhammer lore. Sometimes I don't even think the writers knew what they were writing.
Probably because they weren't expecting their stuff to get translated into a medium like video games where things can be seen in action
Why did you ANSWER about your sex life on a public forum? Why would you think that's okay to tell random people on a game hobbyist site?
This. This does not seem like the place or the time at all to talk about a sexual fetish of any kind, and do not try to preach to me as being a furry as some kind of lifestyle. It is a fetish. Pretty sure fetishes are supposed to be kept secret, or spoken to your significant other in an intimate and personal setting...not an online forum, where you pretty much just crucified yourself in trying to make an it acceptable social thing.
Like the reality that answering about your sex life on a forum dedicated to 40k is really really not necessary. Cause at no point is the content of your sex life has relevance or pertinence with what we are discussing We are here to talk about 40k and the game. Not what kind of fishy messy you identify the most with
