I noticed that my Sorcerer cant switch Icons; although the standard one is useful. I was disappointed to see that Raptors cant use Icons either though. The traitor assault can use the Khorne standard; I was really hoping to use that on my raptor. Considering you can only play with 5 loadouts it makes space tight. Ive already got 2 different Traitor setups, adding a third one just for the Khorne ability defeats the purpose of even having a Raptor ( in my personal setup). Not to mention Melee damage on a Devastator? I havent checked them yet Theres already plenty of incentives to have a Traitor loadout; I say let ALL classes use Icons. My different Sorcerers would love Ranged or Melee only icons. Please post if you disagree or +1
You know that icons are a squad based bonus, and it's only based on which icon the squad leader has right? And that in the pug world people tend to not be near enough the squad leader to have the bonus...it's an item close to irrelevant?
Ive been asking for this for awhile now, still havent seen it commented on by the devs. Its silly that you cant even put a Tzeentch Icon on a Sorcerer and other examples of nonsense. Let players choose what they want to wear into combat.
I wasn't clear i'm sorry. My point was only that, there is more important stuff to fix first. Sadly teamplayers, and squad oriented players are e niche. And we know how niche requests get fixed. I support the change ofc, but since i play 90% of the times in pugs, it's a feature of the game that i simply ignore because most of the times, i'm playing the "game objective", and that not always matches with what my squad leader is doing...or my squad. That are recapping irrelevant points, rather than attacking the only one left with time. or sometimes just wandering around clueless.
It's not like this would take a lot of resources to change I would imagine? Seems pretty simple, I don't know why it wasn't done in the beginning.
