I couldn't agree any louder if I were a Noise Marine who had a custom Blastmaster that fired a vox clip of this statement.
SCREAM TO BE HEARD!!!! so the vocal "minority" is basically a secret cult of slaneshy lead by a warband of noise marine? View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ypgltnMSTvw make sense.
Pathfinders aren't unique to Alaitoc, they're just the Craftworld that produces the most Rangers. Any Ranger who loses themselves on the Path of the Outcast becomes a Pathfinder, much like an Eldar who loses themselves on the Path of the Warrior becoming an Exarch. But yeah, if you really had your heart set on being called a Starstrider, I could see how that might disappoint you
And Alaitoc only produces Pathfinders because they're puritans by Eldar standards and all Rangers are secretly Emo kids. Rebels. It's the same reason that Catholic School girls grow up to be amazing at ... dancing
True, I misunderstood the text I quoted... Kind of off topic but I'm intrigued by your job... do you help to adapt the lore or TT mechanics to the game?
Curious too. Most mysterious. As a Slaanesh creature I have trouble trusting Harlequins though ... We've been mocked before
Just did a post for the Eldar folks, but if you're interested in our general philosophy about the Founder/Store characters you can see it here: http://forum.eternalcrusade.com/threads/so-about-that-outcast-ranger.19851/
So I decided to read about eldar rangers on the lexicanum http://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Ranger#.U5uopWt5mSM and from their description as wandering bad asses I think they would make a great heroic class. The Pathfinders I think would make for a great elite class.
