Tactical for the insane versatility they have + the servoskull that makes absolutely absurd combos. Traitor has different tools thanks to marks. Close to the Tactical. Shoota has strong weapons but not as much versatility as the Tactical or Traitor. DAs are here for 1 job, and that is capping points, because their AI capabilities (in which they are supposed to excel) feels... meh. Fire Dragons have the nice and sweet broken mechanic of the double meltabomb, yeah... Pretty much all they have going for them. The Fuegan's resolve is ... some kind of a multi melta equivalent, lasts longer but less burst damage.
Ok i should use different wording. Lowest standard tactical rifle in game. which would leave us with 228 shoota, 250 asc and 211 bolter, even with cqc it would go up to 224(still worse than competition) while heavy barrel shoota would bump up to 249. i didnt drink the kool aid. I could understand if someone would call bolter decent or say that they prefer it out of 3, but best rifle in the game?? not by a long shot. As argument of eldar being squishy, what about shoota then?? orks aint squishy yet they have 228/249 dps with their shoota...at least they are less accurate right?? well if we forget that they build less spread than bolter on top of requring less time to kill then yeah if we dont ignore those however, we'll come up with bolter being more accurate at best by 0.1 degree and at worst less accurate.
I would say that the only real Umm dislike i would have to the Fire dragons is, well. double melta bundle. letting 1 player destroy a veichle near instantly. I would like it if they instead had to work with useing two fire dragons to do the job instead of one Doing all of the AV. it feels a bit cheap when the AV teamwork is lowerd like that. but other than that they are Okay.
Well, think fire dragons as the AV lodout for Dire avengers. They are like two half classes. they are meant more to be compared togheter against any of the others. Nowz Didz tuhz ehlp yez ya Eldar Savage?
To be fair, it only takes 1 Tactical with a Mela Bomb and Meltagun to take a Wave Serpent, because of how much lower the WS's HP is. You just plant the Bomb and finish with about a second of Meltagun. If we made it take 2 FD to take out a Rhino, we'd have to make it take 2 Tacticals to take out a WS, either by buffing WS HP or nerfing non-Eldar Melta weapons.
SHOOTAS CUZ ORKS ARE DA BEST! NOW On a real note Tacticals are most versatile but i wouldnt say the most powerful because most of their tools wont be used by most tacticals and i am assuming we are just comparing the base line of default gun + mods with other things. If we include other ranged weapons then Traitor takes the cake in my opinion simply because MON is disgusting and MOS gives you lagy AIDS. Other wise its the Shoota because goldengob + shoota with mods + armor = one toufgh ork with a lot of dakka who can out rpm others in CQC and med range as for those who say it cant do much in range then i say refer to the pic abobe.
