Should BE put Racial and skill trees or points to what your character to be like. etc say , also how will guy want it to be like if it was yes. give your ideas.

I have no idea how they can do this. Because they have a whole lot. But i want to see some racial ones in there for each legion or craftworld or ork clans.

Though i find racial and legion and Etc is a must. Night lords get better stealth and speed . Better with the talon weapon. And get raptor boost while iron warrior get quicker capture point objectives , blowing up mobile armor. better defense?

Eldar . Speed , agility , something else. but anyway . what your thoughts
  2. From what has been said already I think the main idea for this game is that no one can be too over powered. They want someone who is new to the game to be able to jump in and stand a fair chance at killing other players and not just getting romplestomped by people who have been playing for months. This keeps the ability to have new people join and play without having to worry about them not enjoying the game because they waited too long to buy it. I believe it's been said that the weapons and armor that you will find doing missions (quests) will really be the only upgrading of one's character, maybe the ability to unlock things that are resource dependent, or access to race based relics.
  3. Skill trees could work pretty well; for example we all started as a base unit:

    [*]Ork Boy
    [*]Scout
    [*]Acolyte
    [*]Guardian

The based on how we skill up we can advance our class e.g.

To get a Nob you need to skill up your Ork's ability to "Be da Boss" and "Chopp'em" while to be a Bike Boy you got to skill up your abillity to "Chopp'em" and your riding skill.

This could be a great way to get cult marines too by increasing your "Favour" skill with a certain God.

yea but still each of the legions are different in its own kind , same with the orkz and the eldar. They should try put some difference in the racial being. Like some orkz have the very fast speed , then other orkz on the war bikes . While Ultramarines are more tatical then Blood angels who are more of the frenzy lunatics and space wolves are the same too but in a different way, but also wanting to see like having to train or something to use heavy bolters or heavy plasma guns. but your right. we don't want to get unbalanced for the new people and the ones who been playing for long time. to just jump right in and start pawning the new guys quick

  5. All that would do is mean that Klans would be optimised so people would go "ewww, you're a Badmoon bike boy? noob go make another one" while the poor guy is sat there at level whatever top level is miffed he got treat like a tit for picking his favourite Klan

Here you go, their view on sub faction skills:

    ==Sub-Faction Abilities==
It always bugs me in dungeon crawlers when there are four classes and four races, and there's an obvious Mage race, an obvious Fighter race, etc. The pressure is even greater for a PvP game, so I totally hear you when you say it would be lame if you felt like you had to be a Blood Angel to be an Assault marine. We're going to allow for unique weapons/accessories/statlines for the sub-factions, but we want to do everything we can to make sure they don't create this situation. Having very situation-specific powers is one potentially good solution.

The plan, of course, is for you guys to be involved in giving us feedback for this once you get your hands on the game!

So sub-faction skills will exist, and im more than glad to hear it. And if someone picks on you ingame about your sub-faction choice compared to the super most optimal one you are to show that person the proverbial middle finger.

If they indeed go about making each sub-faction skills unique true balance between them wont exist, and it shouldnt. Cause most of them will be situational, and thus each will excel at some part of the game better than the other.
    Partisan and Whiskey like this.

There will be lots of whining and I gope that devs mostly ignore it.
There needs to be balance, but no so that every unit from every subfaction is equal in evvery situatio

  8. Yes, there should be. From a space marine standpoint, the various chapters have strengths and weaknesses, plus all kinds of fluff type things that could be turned into game mechanics. The Blood Angels' "Red Thirst" could be something like a "life on hit" ability. Concepts like that will go a long way towards making your sub-faction choice relevant.

  9. They're not vampires :p Red Thirst could be a % chance to loose your balls when you enter combat...or a randomy stacking buff that once it hits X stacks will cause you to rampage amongst anyone near you.

  10. lol somehow I think BA players won't take too kindly to being forced to attack allies. Can't really do things like that.

That said, while not making them vampires per se, it's easy to turn that piece of fluff into a gameplay mechanic.
