True, but Space Vikings PLUS Space Dwarves? They'd be unstoppable! Also, imagine the booze-ups, afterwards...
2nd edition Space wolf guard in terminator armor, with assault cannon AND cyclone missile launcher...that was unstoppable...but GW just had to spoil all the fun...
I do think it's weird that 40K has all these classical fantasy archetypes like elves, knights, demons and orks but then decided to eventually cut out the dwarves. I think the Squats looked like crap, had a crap name and their lore was awful (stunted miners??) but I think GW could bring back dwarves in 40k with the right ideas. Wasn't there some rumours that the "Demiurge" mentioned in some lore could be the new dwarves?
