Cannot complain, sounds like a fun time..Me..my Thunder hammer..and maybe a few melter bombs, sounds like a party!
Did i say the "owed" me or us anything, No i didnt, What i ASKED was would this basically have a SWTOR PTW system via buying races/Exp boosts and i asked because that system is utter shit and the PS2 system is even worse, "takes 7 months to get X weapon ORRRR pay £15 to get it now" Thats just as much PTW as SWTOR has become.
if you can't afford a game subscription, you have far bigger issues than what race you can play for free. I do not say this with any angst whatsoever, and I mean to ill towards anyone, but if you are that strapped for cash, a 2nd job instead of a hobby would probably be a better idea. You can make enough for a subscription with a paper route, scrapping metal, mowing lawns, helping clean up people yards, etc etc. Cleaning your parents garage, helping out around the house. My point is; if you have time to dedicate to to a very time consuming hobby, then you have time to earn money to enjoy said hobby. I make exceptions for disadvantaged, people etc that have no choice in the matter.
SWTOR - Make it so painful people want to pay. PS2 isn't pay to win, there are comparable weapons you can earn to anything you can buy, the point behind PS2 and I bet why you say it takes so long to get anything is teamwork and winning. If you aren't doing those two things, you will have a very frustrating experience. IMO neither game is Pay to win.
I will admit the choice of going f2p = Ork is a bummer and major black mark for many hard core fans. However, as a gamer I can see WHY they are doing this. Since Orks are numerous they want the Orks to have the numbers of f2p on their side. But that still seems like a bad choice IMO.
You know what? I've worked shit jobs for shit pay most of my working life and I still find the cash to play sub based games just fine. I was pulling down $8 an hour and still paid all my bills plus my FFXI sub. It's not that freaking hard. If it's that far outside of your price range then you're talking about living outside of your means anyways and maybe video games need to take a back seat for awhile.
That's just not true, Some of the guns took far too long to grind outside of just buying them with station cash and they were horribly balanced.
