PVP: Eldar ruin my gaming experience

  1. Bullshit, Eldar can defend fine.

    Enhance bots, Embolden Bots, DA's and SS's with a couple DR SC's on the railings on the upper floor holds just fine. Complete fallacy.

    In fact, Enhance on Dark Reapers may be the most absurd thing in the game.

    Edit: No nevermind, Enhance on a SH with Hunters Mark is even more sickening heh.

    Yes and no. The most absurd thingy is a heavy bolter overlooking a room with a servoskull in it. THAT is absolutely devastating. (And if you think about the regen, don't worry, the Devastator is sitting on a Healing BEacon and the Apo is dispensing him the Damage Reduction vial)

    Eldar can defend, but it's highly NOT recommanded to let the enemy come to you if you can avoid it.

  5. Welcome to the club. It's your best bet for ensuring a mostly positive and enjoyable gaming experience, i.e. not accepting Eldar ques.

    The bullshit road kill rampage with their vehicles at this point so many months post launch is inexcusable. The fact that all Eldar knives do more damage than Ork and Astartes knives. Hell Eldar knives only do slightly less damage than chainsword and power swords just FYI. Dual meltabombs for Fire Dragon is hilarious/sadly OP. Eldar melee fast attack ranges(for all classes) are much longer than Ork Melee class fast attack ranges.

    Lots of bullshit to put up with IMO. It's not worth enduring such blatant imbalances, so much frustration and unwanted stress when we dont have to. It's just too bad we cannot blacklist Eldar as a whole in the que while being able to simply que only for Orks and Astartes simultaneously.

    Hey dude, long time no see.

    Roadkill is indeed unacceptable and most Eldar players (me included) would like to see it fixed. Sadly that doesn't depend only on us, but more on the devs.
    Eldar Melee weapons dealing more damage is for the sake of melee TTK, the Devs wanted to keep melee TTK equal across all factions, so a DA with a knife would kill a Tact with a knife just as fast as the opposite. (because movement speed and smaller frame DOESN'T matter when in melee [since you use smart pistol/lock on to hit] And before you say it, no, Eldar movement speed doesn't allow you to run out of melee unless you outmanoeuver your opponent by rolling in an odd direction [which every faction can do, I tested it].)
    Dual Melta bombs are too strong at destroying vehicles, We've tried to find ways to solve the issue, there are still a lot of threads going on about that.
    "Eldar Melee longer fast attack ranges" I sure hope you have extensive data about that one, like the number of sweeps it takes to reach 100m... I haven't tested it, and I'd be delighted if you could provide me with proofs.

    The reason why and the only reason why Eldar win so much imo is the enemy team will never have a single Rhino/trukk up vs them.

    When I'm not playing as Eldar I literally just drive a transport around all game so we have at least one up..its boring as hell though.

    Umm, yeah? It's double the reach compared to orks, same distance as LSM/CSM enjoy. Only orks get half the melee reach for all of their classes.

  10. And that's broken as hell. I've never heard any justification for such a broken aspect of game play. Melee is supposed to be one of Orks asymmetrical ADVANTAGES.. not disadvantages.
