Hi, im sorry if this topic comes up often. In my defense I did search the forums for PVE, but the results were that my search terms were too short. Im simply wondering if there will be cooperative PVE aspects. I know that PVP is what all the cool kids like these days, but my best memories are of team based PVE - raiding and group progression content. This is not an area that 40k has gone (that im aware of) and I was just wondering if there are any plans to have such aspects in Eternal Crusade. I played 40k on the tabletop for years, and I can understand that PVP goes straight to the core philosophies of the franchise, but since WoW has become a disaster, I have been looking for a new coop experience. I would love that to be the 40k universe again, but as I mentioned, it looks like its only pvp with no kind of progression.
There will be something called "Underworlds" were players team up and fight NPCs, its similar to dungeons instances etc.
From what I can gather so far... There seems to be some kind of PvEvP on the surface (but not everywhere and all the time). The "E" part are the tyranids, and they are probably going to be used as a "regulator" NPC faction, attacking the PC factions from time to time... The underground instances are based on a "random creation" mechanic, think of it like Diablo, with dungeons generated each time you enter them. 2 modes for the underground instanced PvE, typical dungeon progression setup with bosses etc, and a survival mode with waves of tyranids. All the above contribute to the war effort in various degrees. This is as things sound ATM, but this early during development a lot may change.
I hadn't heard about the instanced dungeon aspect. That would be pretty sick if they were able to add something along those lines. Being able to play full action MMO game with both great PvP and an accessible PvE aspect would be fun. Getting your butt wiped on the front lines? Cool off a bit by mowin' down some PvE content
