    Hello everybody.

    So this topic is about psychic Powers on Eternal Crusade.
    We know there probably psykers.
    So the question is: Is that we must use the Powers of the miniatures game, or specifics to EC?

    So the Powers are:

    For the Space marines: the Powers of the Divination, the pyromancy, the telekinesis, and the telepaty.

    The chaos marines can use the power of the area of Tzeentch, Nurgle and Slannesh.

    Eldars, the Powers of the ancient.

    Orks, the energy of the Waaagh!

    So you can make your propositions.:)

    EDIT: Sorry for the questionnaire, the 2nd choice is "Yes but we can make specifics Powers for Eternal Crusade."

    i dont think we need "new" powers to be created the TT has enough powers for every race.

    Most of the TT psychic powers can be easily adapted to EC.

    Just use the stuff already created and balance it for a real-time game instead of turn based is all.

    Like the others said, theres quite a plethora of existing psychic powers to choose from.
    That being said like all previous 40k games Behavior will also get the artistic license to dabble in "making things up" to put it bluntly.

    So if the current amount of powers isnt enough to fill the gaps in possible roles and builds the psychic classes will have Behavior will surely put in some abilities of their own. We should always remember that its something that whilst the TT maps, its still unpredictable warp stuff and trillions of rituals and spells surely exist in this universe (why else would Sorcerers constantly search for new sources of knowledge and power) so they have that window open to expand our power arsenal.

    Thanks for reply to this topic. It is about psychic power.

    I wrote the area of the "classic" Powers psychic:

    Biomancy: manipulation of energy and biologique processus. The Powers of the Biomancy are upgrading or weaken the target.

    Divination: reveals the future, and discern the course of events. The Powers of this area are only upgrading the speed of the allies, or to protect them.

    Pyromancy: the Powers are simple: kill the ennemis with the Fire. But there are some pyromancy's Powers are protecting the allies.

    Telekinesis: manipulation of the material. It s polyvalent area of psychic Powers, protect the allies with psychic Shield, lacerate the ennemis with psychic impacts.

    Telepathy: take the command of the ennemis or the allies, to protect and/or upgrading , or kill them. So it s a polyvalent area.

    So this is just a recall, to make the base of the classic psychic area.

    Psychic powers shouldn't become too big part in the game, all races don't have them after all.

    What are you on about? All 4 on launch races partake in psychic powers.

    ...that later on, once they add Tau and DE, there are huge psychic ability trees and stuff and many classes for them and maybe special content and missions just for psykers.

    And then the devs wake up and ask "so what do we do with these guys?"*

    *= Just a joke, I have faith in the developers ^^

    Ummm, and? I will not be dictated in my love of the psychic by smurf communists nor the angstier of the smelldar kin! Preposterous!
    Back on the serious note, if we see class specific content then we will logically see class specific content for the two races you chose to state there too (though i seriously doubt class specific content, this isnt gonna be WoW).
    And i wont cry in my bed in the night even if they do, and some Mandrake can sit in a cave i cant.

    Each race will have its own class skill trees and the psychic tree will be just that, another skill tree for a class you dont have. Not seeing how it affect you that our playstyle is well done, it surely isnt hurting anyone elses by being well done. Thats like me complaining that the Chaos Astartes dont use snipers, ergo Rangers shouldnt be a thing.
    Or that other races arent as good with personal teleporting tech, ergo we should scrap the awesomeness that are the Warp Spiders.
