Ladies and gentlemen, I've noticed somethin wonky about our rokkit launcha. And I think you all need to know. Our basic rokkit launcha, the one you can buy with REQ, is crap, doesn't even scratch vehicles. THATS BECAUSE ITS BUGGED! The basic rokkit launcha does 600 damage to a tyranid in the Garrison. The ALTERNATE COLOUR rokkit launcha, does 1400 damage to a tyranid in the Garrison, and also is bloody good at crumpin vehicles. The DEAD SHINY rokkit launcha also does 1400 damage to a tyranid in the Garrison, and is bloody good at crumpin vehicles, and apparently, it is more accurate too, but that is anecdotal. So, this is me telling you lads, soon as you get an alternate colored rokkit launcha from a 5k box, USE IT ON DA VEHICLES. And hopefully they will fix our basic bugged version. For example, dis is the damage from one rokkit on a rhino from behind from a non-bugged version of our rokkit launcha.
Just an addendum to this, tested all three pokkit rokkit launchas, they all only do 210 damage, so they're useless for anti vehicle damage.
Ok so basically what's your opinion about rokkit launcher and pokkit rokkit? Are they viable weapons? Are they worth? Anti infantry or anti vehicle?
The rokkit launcha is definitely viable, if you don't use the one you buy with Req, you have to use one from a box
I was like, "No..." and then I tested them and I was like "Whaaat..." and now it's like "Alright then..." So I just got the proper rokkit launcha today, as well as unlocking the super stikkbomb, and tankhunting is now vastly improved. I also make the cheesiest one-shot kills with the rokkit launcha, of which I am only moderately ashamed of. If I can figure out a way to peg eldar vehicles with it reliably my complaints for ork tankhunting will be done.
Don't feel ashamed. It isn't anywhere close to plasma and enemies can just dodge roll your shot making it never hit. The rokkit takes a lot of skill to actually master and a lot of that is knowing where and when to be someplace on a map. I use it to help cap points by getting the high ground and raining death on high value targets like plasma users or raptors trying to camp corners.
