Well this game isn't For Honor now, is it? On a serious note, like a lot of other people posting in here, I fire into Melee as well, but I make sure to ADS and only burst fire enough shots to hit the enemy and not my buddy to either down them myself or get them weak or distracted enough to be downed by my ally.
Just make sure each game to start with a faction chat saying "Nobody help me out, I want to 1v1 my enemies in melee combat only, im pretty sure that our enemies will be cool with that and respect my personal code of honor." Seriously, if your playing a lobby shooter with a 1vs1 mentality, your gonna have a hard time. I guarantee your enemies wont be holding back their gunfire just because you want to solo melee 1 guy at a time.
Whenever I see people in melee, I use whatever AOE weapon I have and fire into it. Why? Because fuck melee. If I kill the enemy. Good. If I kill the teammate as well. Good. I like to think when I kill melee with things like the old Starswarm, I am helping both the enemy and my team mates find a new perspective on life in a SHOOTER game. Besides being brainless children running around clicking the RMB until one of them goes flaccid. A kill is a kill. I capitalize on getting kills. If a team mate gets in the way, that is their fault. Not mine. TL;DR: Big projectiles have the right of way. And I have the big projectiles.
Sorry, but the special rule says we always have to issue or accept challenges. It's not our fault no one has any martial pride.
I am so glad that you main Eldar. You are that factions burden to bear. Just out of curiosity how many team kills do you think you average every game? Do you ever get kicked from matches due to too many allied kills?
Never been kicked. I average around 4 to 6 TKs. After the 1st, melee usually avoids getting in the way. I might start playing LSM and CSM to increase my mission of shooter good will. Someone has to teach you primitives what a fucking gun is.
The Starswarm for the Reaper was much lighter than you would expect from say a Plasma Cannon. If I did what I did with a Plasma Cannon, I'd probably be banned by now.
