I mean, to be fair, saying things like "Just wait until hunter's mark is nerfed" can be just as bad as bragging about being OP. To me, it seems neither the Eldar nor the Orks are in the right in this screenshot, so all the blame shouldn't be put onto just one or the other. At least in this case.

The unfortunate part is that there seems to be 'toxic' people all around. As usual even if it's a minority (and I have no idea on actual numbers) it colours the whole faction.

To use MYST as an example, we'll have War Parties of 15-30. Every match our strict policy is to stick to positive comments, no flaming, no agitating opponents, no unnecessary comments, nothing in that vein, despite some of the flack we get.

PR is super difficult and it goes around in spite of good sportsmanship. Have you looked at some of the "balance" threads over time? It's been going on since before the game was in a viewable state.

It's hilarious because you fuckers do the exact same thing when you win...like every other faction.

Hypocrisy at its finest. Every game I've seen, whoever wins, they talk shit.

I don't talk shit to the enemy. I do rage at my own team sometimes. If an enemy starts raging, the worst I'll say is "lol salt", but I leave it at "gg" if everyone else does.

Honestly, I have never seen Eldar players start shit in the chat (which may be because we are in the fortunate position of being in a good spot).

But after every match if we win I see:
"Can't wait to see Eldar get nerfed"
"Have fun with your OP things"
"No wonder Eldar won again."

And so on and on an on.

Or if Eldar loses you are SURE to see something like:
"Wow, my first win against Eldar"

And those are the civil things. More often than not, you will be insulted.


So yeah, honestly the other factions are starting it almost everytime after a match. Some Eldarplayers don't have as much restraint (and intelligence ) as me, so they respond to it.

There are shit-talkers and bad losers on all sides. Just rise above it and be nice no matter what people say in chat.

I think people just like to blame losing on things out of their control so they declare x or y is OP and broken. Mind you there is some imbalance but I believe that's mostly map mechanics if anything. Either way, my point is, people like to talk shit and everyone has talked up Eldar being the most OP race so they think all Eldar players are cancer even if the vast majority of us never say anything to the enemy team.
