I must say, those poll results look pretty disturbing. I wouldn't like to see hordes of Warlocks running around.
What if some sort of balancing mechanism were built in where if the ratio of any one class on the battlefield was exorbitantly high compared to other classes of the same faction then some attribute becomes diminished? For example if Eldar players were entering the game with an exceedingly high number of Warlocks then their psyker power becomes less effective or something like that. Maybe this would serve as an incentive to get players to have a good mix of classes in their deployments.
Deny the Witch! The one thing that this class poll hs clearly shown us is that Scorpions are incredibly unpopular with zero percent of the vote!
Make a new poll about it, include striking scorpions and "I will play whatever class fits the situations best" as options and I'm pretty sure it won't be this bad.
That would be a bad idea. Players shouldn't be penalized for their class choice. A steeper learning curve could be a solution here. Personally, I would like to see Warlocks as an Elite not a basic class.
I was thinking about it as penalizing players for not playing in a cohesive way. But yeah I could see this pissing people off, especially those that like to go lone wolf.
magical? They definitely shouldn't be less magical Though I agree that playing a warlock effectively should be more difficult than playing any other class effectively EDIT: magical is an adjective. Do I get a cookie?
