You were ramming it by seemingly attempting to persuade me from my view, as though I was wrong. I find that annoying, yes, because it's my view. I don't have to explain my opinion to you, or the reasoning for it, for it to become valid. You might not like my vote, you might make assumptions about my reasons or whatever else, but that's the beauty of free speech and of opinions. So. You think Corax. I think Curze. That's the end of our discussion. I'd assume we'd include both personalities, I don't see any reason not to.
Wut? I never asked him to defend his view, I never said anything about his view at all. He attacked mine, not the other way around. The topic is for us to pick who we think would win. All I did was vote, and he replied with a bunch of waffle I didn't ask for. Frankly, I don't care why he thinks Corax would win, and I certainly never asked him why. I think arguing it will get us nowhere because it's a subjective matter, so I stated I didn't want to bother. I don't have to defend or justify my view if I don't want to, I don't see how that's anyone's business. Plenty of people voted without posting at all, so clearly I'm not the only one who doesn't feel the need to justify their vote. Why is this an issue for you? I'm not claiming that my view is objectively correct, or attacking anyone who voted for the other option, so what's your problem?
Let's get some more Curze people in here! The Night Lords novels are on my list but I'm still terribly uneducated on Curze beside his basic back story. Curze seemed very in control when he fought Corax at the Drop Site Massacre. I'd really like if someone laid out why they thought Curze would come out on top.
Going by both their descriptions and battles during the Horus Heresy stories, i'm definitely leaning towards Corax. Konrad is a murderer, working to use terror to his advantage with hit and run attacks to wreck havoc in most engagements or using surprise to his advantage. Corax meanwhile has been shown to be far more adept at shrugging off severe punishment and greater raw power, plus he seems to be at least equal to Konrad in terms of stealth capabilities. Were this any other primarch save possibly Russ, Horus, Magnus, Sanguinius or Angron I think Konrad would have a definite advantage, but it does seem like he'd lose to Corax.
If Curze chooses the field, most primarchs would definitely have much less of their usual advantages. Curze and Corax are probably equally good at planning ambushes but Curze is hunter. Putting Curze agist Corax denies Curze a lot of his strength. If we go by the novels, he definitely has an effect on Corax. If someone can put fear into the heart of a primarch, they must be pretty good at it. His psychological warfare shouldn't be discounted since Corax has a special weakness to the Night Haunter. Konrad Curze and Corax could have been close friends in another world.
While I do think Corax was most certainly an effective fighter, I have to hand this one to Cruze. I believe with his dual personality he could constantly keep his opponents off balance. One second your fighting an animal the next a cold calculated attacker. Also I do believe however mentally prepared Corax is, Cruze is a master of terror and fear. He would find an opening and use it, regardless if he ambushed Corax or they met in the cage. Cruze would win but it would be a close fight! Also I saw someone mention a Russ vs Cruze fight that I would love to see being my 2 favorite primarchs and all Russ would win that one! The wolf fears nothing, hell he charged into the warp with the 13th great company without a second thought!
