I disagree Ferrus had plenty of time to prepare and he knew well that Fulgrim had betrayed the Emperor and dont forget Fulgrim killed 2 primarchs not just 1
Not disagreeing, the guy is a total bad ass, he puched the head off an Avatar for Christ sake! I think its fair to say Ferrus had to have been off his game. I understand he knew of the betrayal and it generated titanic amounts of anger and sadness in him because Fulgrim was his closest brother. Did it effectt he outcome? who knows. Neither 1 is my favourite so i have no bias one way or the other. Just pointing out that in each case where 1 Primarch defeats another, usually there is some event that has one at a slight disadvantage as I listed above. I am sure the Canon intentionally writes it that way. IB
Although not my favorite primarch, I would have to have vulkan ( the whole pretty much immortal thing ) and magnus cos of his sheer psychic abilites. All primarchs have shown incrediable feats of strength tho. Kurze could be interesting to have as he managed to make Rogal Dorn fear him. I know The Lion managed to put him out of action for a while but then again a dark angel severed his spine while he was busy fighting The Lion. So the fight could have needed very differently had they been alone .
