a very simple poll and more than like has been done before but just seeing where we all stand. Also lets talk about what we like to see as pre order bundles. I would like to see some kind of preorder where for the ones who are in a faction and plan on playing with them get something extra or some way to show this.
Of Course! Something like the Collectors Ed of space marine, but one pack for each Race. An art book, a CD of game music maybe a relic of some sort that is specific to the packs race, and some DLC that you cannot get otherwise. That was a huge mistake by THQ they had all these DLC packs come out with various things, but the CE had basically nothing... it's a CE it should have had ALL the avalible DLC. Please BE, if you bring out a CE (or 4) for the love of Tzeentch pump it full of DLC that is exclusive to the CE.
My wallet is ready. I'm hoping we see a forum badge, some in game currency to buy fancy hats, and some "founders" cosmetics. I'm kind of torn on beta access. This shouldn't be a free demo so I'd like to see slots filled by people who will actually test rather than people who just want to play. Maybe give beta access but restrict people to the F2P Ork classes. That way the devs can get data on how the orks perform with their numbers boost.
Agreed to many games now due beta as a demo instead of what it is supposed to be. A test to see if everything good.
The moment they tell us we can give them money is the moment im giving it to them. Aside from the regular stuff (beta access, some visual representation ingame/forum that you preordered) id like to see them give us perhaps what i like to call a "founders token". It will be a one use redeemable token for the cash shop that will be present ingame. This is an item one can choose to save for later or use it to take out an item from the cash shop for free (here im referring to cosmetics rather than anything else). The reason why it should be saveable is cause many peoples favorite legion/chapter/craftworld/klan wont be present on launch, so the owners of the token can just choose to wait out till their faves get put ingame so they can redeem the token for something related to the said subfaction.
Unless I try the beta and it turns out to be trash. Otherwise, yes, I will preorder this game. I am a big fan of the 40K setting and there are not nearly enough 40K games around
I would love to see a pre-order pack, but I need the X-Box one first. So I have one year to get it. I'm the same oppinion as Carnage. I hope we get a SE for every race with exclusive DLC, like limited parts for the armor or something else.
The theory floated by Miguel was that pre-orders would have a certain number of "points" that would be usable to essentially "craft your own pre-order package", so, if you are going to be an Eldar player primarily, there's no need for you to get that pre-order Bolter skin, you can get a pre-order shuri-cat skin! for example. It was also suggested that there will be varying levels of pre-orders, for more points to get these pre-order items and/or cash shop purchases. So.. we'll see.
You held my attention with the whole crafting the package thing then lost it on those tier like pre-orders, sounds too Kickstarter-ish. I certainly dont mind paying extra for nice things (which i undoubtebly will since im sure they will make tons of cosmetics id like) , but if they put something like "200$ pre-order package" and theres like this awesome as hell skin (that will due to its pre order nature only be available to the purchasers of that expensive package) that i want like crazy its gonna get me kinda irked.
