Yes. It's Galen. Learn your shit and read them forumzz. True. PG got their asses handed to them when we played shitty and the opponent was good. Not counting Eldar recently, cause reasons. Nothing to be fixed here. Want to train, go solo - do just that. Want to play in coordinated manner and have fun - join a guild. There's a fuckton out there, even the most asocial clown can find one and enjoy the game. Not pointing any fingers. Allright, I might point it just a little
No. And here's why. Guilds aren't all the same size, and the members don't always play together. Smaller guilds need PuGs on their side to fill up the ranks, especially against a larger guild. Not every guild can max out multiple war parties, thus a mixture is required. A 5 V 20 game isn't fun even if both sides are guilds. Some will, some won't, but I've seen it done multiple times in alpha. It works best when multiple people use comms rather than one guy trying to play general. But regardless, if one side tries to organize in a team based game and the other side doesn't you can hardly blame the side that did play as a team. But yes Guild and good are not synonymous. Just because someone is in a guild they are not magically better, the organizing of course helps, they are on the skill Spectrum just like everyone else in the playerbase. Seeing that the other side is Guild stacked usually means it's going to be harder not unwinnable.
Joining a guild is so simple, has so many rewards you get out of it, and literally 0 commitment. You can join a guild, play with the guys, and then not show up for like 4 weeks straight and most people will still let you play with them.
It's a great way to screw over your fellow solo players at least. Nothing like trying to fight a likely organized group at a numerical disadvantage. The reason you're met with these responses is because even when comms was up this sprung up. Generally the people vocal about this just don't want to play as a team and simply want to see those that do removed from the equation. I've always said rather than try to essentially punish team players for playing as a team in a team game the real discussion should be improving in game systems for casual teamplay. In this regard bE was doing good until they released without reactivating comslms as they already have a waypoint system, a comms rose, spotting and the ability to form warparties with people you played with in a recent game. That's why the response has devolved int Git Gud, because the tools are there. Save one important one due to a bug.
