i for one would love to get for the collectors edition if they did one a statue. something tells me if they did do a statue it would be of a space marine holding a hammer. which actually brings to question, what melee weapons are they doing to have. i for one would love to have a warhammer along with a jet pack but have it to where if you use the warhammer you can't use a gun you know. Lighting claws would also be awesome. the possible choices for this game are endless.
I'm sure we will see a model of some sort. Id like to have a special bike/speeder/tank that ONLY a CE buyer will EVER have. I'm a bit tired of rewards that don't last. I don't want a pet, I'm sorry pets are lame, only if you can use them to fight then OK. Also I'm sure we will see a soundtrack and a book.
Some cosmetic stuff. That's it. I'm not the biggest fan of preorder bonuses. Lots of games take stuff that should be in the base game already and give them to the select few that preorder.
Cosmetics. Either exclusives or bundles of items that everyone could buy, but at a greatly discounted price.
An Exclusive pre-order bonus...mmmmhhhh Yeah defintely something cosmetic... Cape - Dark Angel Wolf Pelt - Space wolf Wings - Blood Angel or something like that Codex on their belt - Ultra Marines?
I posted this earlier but it fits in here too Hopefully different tiers of what you can buy directly. By this I mean is, If this game is as good as it sounds, I will be playing this game a lot and with the on going battles and such, I would be up for investing more money into this game when pre-ordering For example the standard cost may be like €40 (This isn't what its set at, I just made a guess) and if you pre-order you may get early access. I'd be up for paying if they had a higher tier of say €60 where you get everything the standard has to offer plus maybe some skins or even a special in-game title (if they are putting them in) and maybe even a special weapon that isn't over powered but it would be better than the standard weapon you start of with (but in saying that, People could just as easily unlock a weapon just as good from playing a bit) ...but this weapon may be unique in looks. They could even include ingame currency and the sound track with the purchase, I always like game soundtracks As for physical goodies - I'm not too sure, I've never really been a fan of physical promo items, Well it really depends on what it is. Like if you look at kickstarter projects (for example) you have tiers set at €25 and you get a free t-shirt!...well hang on a minute, That t-shirt would have cost money to make! while if its an ingame item, It wouldn't really cost them anything to give you it. I know this isn't a kickstarter project but I'd much prefer for it to be "cost sensible" so to speak! They could have the option to have an even higher tier where they would indeed cover the cost of everything. That was all if you were buying directly! If it was from a store....Then I don't mind, They can do whatever bundles they want the cost of them buying the game was already paid so no loss for the developers there
I bought the Collectors Edition of Warhammer Online, I really liked what they did with it. A few things that I remember: - Really nice quality art book - Metal Figure of the Orc Warboss - Some actually cool head skins I'd love to see stuff like that again.
- Soundtrack as mp3 download - An actual discount for buying digital (what's up with physical copies being cheaper for many games? Don't do that, please.) - Perhaps faction themed versions of the preorder edition to encourage faction loyalty ("Eldar Edition" etc.). - Don't care for any physical items myself. The world doesn't need more stuff.
