Power Klaw is trash

    As title. The Klaw is a much, much worse version of the Power Fist.

    The strong attack delay time is a joke. The weak attack takes an eternity to fire.

    What is the point in having this weapon in the game if it is completely useless?

  2. I can't say I'm not a little disappointed our melee equivalent is easily outshone by theirs, given our whole thing is melee and close quarters combat.

    It's not at all useless, but the wind-up for the power attack is insanely long compared to the Space Marine's. With the way it was before, you could at least quickly release the power-attack once it was fully wound up, but now it has the animation wind-up when you release, but with a much longer charge time than Marines have.

    And in the same time Electified Choppa feels faster than other factions Power Swords. Makes Claw even worse choice.

    It's bloody awful. It's a useless weapon that literally serves no purpose as the game is, apart from to use the excellent execution animation.

    Our weapons got screwed up again. The axe quick attacks are faster than our swords now and the power klaw strong attack is s-l-o-w.

    Trying to punch a vehicle to death now I can get one hit in before some JPA (there's only 50 of them per match) slams into me. Don't even try hitting anything that's moving. What a joke!

    Regardless of how broken it is the idea is for the Power Klaw to break your opponents defense rather than work around it. It's designed to clang, and designed to plow through clangs.

    Heavy attack should only be reserved for ambushing grots shooting from cover when you sneak up behind them and stationary vehicles/quadguns.

    Everything else just fast attack and dbash only. In fact, now that I think about it, don't even Dbash with the klaw. Think about it this way assuming you're spamming fast attack
    Enemy D-bashes: enemy loses 80% durability(estimate) breaks on next d-bash, enemy dies while stunned
    Enemy Fast Attacks: Enemy clangs, you win clang because of klaw, loses tons of durability if they don't break outright
    Enemy Heavy attacks: your fast interrupts it, free hit, 1 more hit and they die.

    The intent is: the higher impact the weapon the more it is for breaking defense rather than getting around it.


    Also trust the ork pistols, they're actually REALLY good. I'm a huge fan of the electrified slugga, a unique dakka slugga with 110 penetration. that thing doesn't mess around. and it's only 150LP. I know LP is low because of the klaw, but even the 50s are all decent.

    It's not bad in close combat apart from the fact that a marine can literally just walk backwards and shoot you and keep out of range from your hilariously slow attacks.
