here is a stupid question. If the game isn't available to play, I can't download the client right now, are others able to play it? If no one can play, why are things added to the store? also, how often do they release progress updates / update the main page with info? the last update was over a month ago.
No at this point no one can play the game. Like Arkdawn said Cpt Founders get instant access when the early access module comes out, Sgt Founders = 30 days, and Warrior Founders 60 days. Things are added to the store to let us know what we can get as founders in game. These items are purely cosmetic and don't change the stats or the balance of the game. Any they release official twitch tv updates around every month but usually they're on the forums a lot talking and giving out info. Like just a few days ago they added new weapons to the Rouge Traders' Store and they posted it on the forums rather than the news page because they wanted to tell us directly! Also just yesterday Elysium gaming did a 2 hour interview with Miguel talking about the game. They'll be posting that on the website soon. Hopefully this answers your questions!
No not yet Eternal Crusade is still in development the dev team is still a few months from launching the first founder module, It is a reward for the founders who have supported Eternal Crusade while it is still in development to help easy the passage of time tell Eternal fully launch's.
