Lemme fit in, lol. I im planning to get a warrior pack pretty soon and i came up with a question about rtp's. Will i be able to give them to a friend of mine and will it will be enough to get him a space marine? (tho i guess +1 slot, +1 race unlock may be 2 much)... Sorry if its not the right topic tho.
Hey Scruffy, First, welcome! Thanks for becoming a Founder There has been some confusion with the Dawn of the Imperium and Xenos packs. They're Captain packs with add-ons. We designed these packs to satisfy two types of wants. DOI - all the relic items. Xenos - tons of points. For fans who have been wanting both, I suggest buying the DOI pack then buying a few points bundles. You won't be spending more and you'll have the benefit of both packs. Hope that helps!

The only gifting that i know about so far (May change later) is the Voucher's that are in the Founder Store just wheel down to the 3rd row i think, So far the Space Marines are only available when getting the full game key $40 Warrior pack. But talk is that they will be available to be unlocked though micro-transactions later (Might be wrong about this might only be Orc unlock's tell you get 40,000 RTP's which auto-unlocks the full game key) in a way like the Orc Pioneer pack works. Say you start a Free account to try Eternal Crusade out (After launch) and see that you like it but you don't have the funds to get the $40 full game key You would be able to unlock different faction options like the Space Marines. Also of note they have a referral program where you can get someone to get the game and then put in your code to get a nice referral bonus for both of you, You can find your referral code by clicking on the "Join the War" tab then clicking the "Founder Sheet" just wheel down a bit, It should be on the right hand side under recruitment level the code is typed in yellow!
Exactly my friend's thoughts about it. Then i guess i'll wait a bit till i get the possibility to gift points, if it gets implemented lol. Thanks for the answer About the referral thingie, if i get it correctly, to make it work, ill need my friend to get EC bought and thats currently not an option.
You're welcome glad to help out Well we have over a year to go before launch i hope you will be able to help out your friend maybe you will be able to gift a Voucher to your friend so your friend can get the full game Yes your friend will need to unlock a full game key just make sure that your friend puts in your referral code before unlocking the full game key there should be a box to type in a code oohh each few months or so there is a very cool founder that gifts $40 warrior founder packs to Crusaders that need them i would say keep an eye out on the forums and ask your friend to start a forum account so your friend can look too for a chance to get a really cool gift Best of luck to you and your friend
Very nice of you to reply, thanks Katie for clearing it up. The confusion most likely stems from the fact, that packages usually build on the prior ones. I'm a backer in Shroud of the Avatar, and they have numerous levels of pledging, each includes what was in the level before it. People like to assume! Nonetheless, thanks for clearing it up. Now, can anyone tell me when i'll be able to download the client? : D
Agree, and I was confused too when we first launched them Hopefully this will be cleared up once we get the Rogue Trader Store checkout in place. Not much longer now!
The first founder game module should be ready for download maybe in 4 months it is going to be like 10vs10 PvP arena maps as a reward for the founders Keep in mind that they will be opened to the founders in waves this is from the game F.A.Q. As a Founder, you receive Early Game Module Access each tier will have access at a different time: First Wave: Those who purchased Captain Packs will gain access as each of these game modules gets released. Second Wave: Those who purchased Sergeant Packs will gain access 30 days after the module is released. Third Wave: Those who purchased Warrior Packs will gain access 60 days after the module is released. Keep in mind that you have the option to upgrade your founder pack up to the 2nd highest founder pack look in the founder store and wheel down to the bottom to see the different upgrade options you have up to launch to get founder store stuff then after launch it ends Now the full game talk is late 2015-early 2016 maybe, They don't want to give a date and end up launching before it's really ready because of a date....like so many other games have done and was hunted by bad reviews for bugs and for rushing a unfinished game out the door
