He's not that tough...but he is tougher then usual, with four stamina, high health and armor, he's....still not the best anti-infantry but he's decent, and he could knock a few tanks around. I do plan at some point to do a possessed squad for the sake of science.
Honestly if he had sword speed weapon I could probably make him work. I can make nurgle NCS builds work, so I could probably make that work. I can sorta make fists work, SORTA. Though its highly dependent on having a pistol as you can get one hit in decently but after that the windups are too long and you need to pistol finish them and if you go for the second hit you are likely just going to get shot to death. Perhaps hes tough enough to get the second hit in, but then hes going to be torn up enough to not have the health to do it again without a constant heal bot. TL;DR I can make sword no pistol work, I can do it on sorcs already. I don't think I can make fist and no pistol work when I fist I crutch on my pistol hard.
Even with both the negative effects of nurgle and slaanesh applied the Possessed's loadout taxes somewhere around 1800 LP (Red Armor 250 LP, Mark of Nurgle 150 LP, Mark of Slaanesh 150 LP, +2 Stamina 200 LP + 80 Health 480 LP, + 10 Armor 70 LP and a regular Powerfist 500 LP and no Sidearm -50 LP) This leads to the conclusion that there wont be a free version of it. Its a pure p2w Char.
Even though they don't count as a points cost, it is to be noted that a Possessed can't cap. I think this probably gives wiggle room on it's "theoretical LP cost" but yes, they definitely are probably rocking something over 1400 LP. But that's not good enough for most people even though I've been saying this since it was shown to have 150 toughness and MOS speed at minimum with a Fist. I am though, quite curious as to what the Vet specific item will be that will give at least some of the Possessed traits to a normal Vet. Perhaps an item that sits in the Capture Key slot that gives Movespeed and Toughness?
Well the official plan so far is no build-a-bro for them. Thus going back to the "P2W" argument. But hey the melee crowd that wants to be able to run through a horde of bullets to engage in "Glorious skilled melee" can have their power fantasy for a life. Now I just need me an orky grav gun.
Noah said on the stream no such thing as an advancement tree item was planned for chaos at that time.
