to much loyalist bolter porn. see nerfing other factions was never the solution. putting faith on flyby lsm players. those people come and go and see even after all that nerf to ork,csm and eldar they still complain. next time when you want to balance a game look to the opinions of seasoned players with overall good stats. not simply democracy and every noob out there.
This past content-less month has brought to my attention that I only really follow the game for what it can be... Not what it currently is. If the devs announced tomorrow that there would be no more development, I'd probably stop playing completely, to be honest. I really hope development continues so that it becomes something I want to play in it's current state rather than just practising for it's future state.
Pretty much sums up how I feel tbh. I played a few games on Saturday to round up the hours but I'm pretty much done till something new happens. Probs jump on for a campaign and or whenever the Autarch actually makes it into game (if it ever makes it into the game.) , a new map or something like that but, yeah I've pretty much done my time "practicing" otherwise.
I agree with both you and Rathael. Right now the game sits in my steam library as a relic of a more promising age. Until more drastic changes, I just dont have much desire to play Eternal Crusade. Its gotten to the point everything feels cyclic and repetitive to me. I can only guess how many others feels the same, which doesnt bode well for this game's future. But, hey, if the Devs start releasing more juicy goodness like game modes, basic classes [mmm mmmh], maps, and possibly mutators hell yeah Ill play more.
See, now surely that would be relatively simple to implement? Same map different way of playing it. Eek out a little more content while the back burner stuff comes to the boil.
If you find yourself lacking the desire to play, find some friends. Anything is fun as long as you have friends to derp around with and talk absolute fucking trash all day. Plus, and maybe this is just the old man in me talking, but I don't need new content constantly pumped at me to keep me interested in killing people. I will say however, the REAL threat, is the amount of choices players have these days and how many hours they have to spend. As they say about men in relationships "a man is only as faithful as his options". And you know..sometimes..it's ok to be burnt out. It really is.
We need desperately new content , new game mods ,new maps ,new cool items ,cosmetics , new classes !!!! And many , many more !!!!!!!!
