I don't often post in places like this but I'm going to just ask and I want honest answers. Why do people join MMO games and not expect to see large clans appearing or simple refuse to join one and then complain about them... Clans and guilds are a part of any MMO you find and with this game you should expect no less so why complain about clan stacks when indeed you yourself should be in the "stack" because that is half of the game. A lone wolf can get kills and be very affective but to win games you need to be willing to coordination with you team. All clans do is help make that easier and yes I admit that pubstomps happen but you can't avoid that so instead the pub's should rise to the occasion and join a strong clan or start their own one to stop the stomps.

Because this here is a shooter son ( real response people want to play aginst people but dont want to play with people while talking to those people, they are fine with seeing them and fighting with them but dont wana talk/chat with em) Humans are weird..
Also dose not help that clans these days have a sort of elitsim and ass hat syndrom assiotaed with them for a good chunk of people who dont bother to dig deeper or try until they find that one clan they click with.

Can't argue with that I suppose. Clans have started to take a turn for the worst I've noticed but I gotta say I think their is a clan out there for everyone people just gotta find it. LSM especially. With how many fandoms we have it really hurts that about half refuse to communicate with the team and then blame the guild stacks.

Thats the current gamer generation ( i know it exgited in other generations as well but not to this extent) every one wants medals, women/men and booze but few want to share the glory or acknowledge the buggers who helped them. That or they dont want to socolizie even in a bit in a team based game. People talk about VOIP but ive rarely seen them be used for anything but screaming and raging in most games.

Personally, I find the topic of "pugstomping" to be a complete waste of time.

If clans really wanted to be matched up against pugs, there is no way to prevent it. They can queue individually, at the same time, by coordinating through a voice program. They might not ALL make it into the same match, but odds are, a good deal of them will.

I have been the victim of many stomps myself, as I have never had a clan. I also don't feel the need to have one. I do as well as I expect of myself, and don't need to live up to other people's standards. But that is just me. Personal preferences, and all.

I have also been a part of pugs who completely trounced the clan queue. It is a rare occurrence, but it does happen. And it is a battle that is worthwhile when you win. And an easy scapegoat when you don't.

At the end of the day, if you are that discouraged by fighting clan stacks, you can either learn to deal with it, or join one yourself. Become a predator instead of prey.

  7. I dream of an EC, where you have all the tools necessary to team up with the People you have in the game, without the need to form a clan.
Things like Voip, meaningfull quick-com messages, easier overview and better Squad-mechanics.
It's not "nerf the guilds" as that would be ridicilus, it's more like "Buff the game to allow coordinated pugs"
You can't coordinate if you have to stand still and type what you wanna do :(

Now this is a good dream for all to want!

Actually you can avoid and should avoid organized groups stomping randoms, it kills player population and is highly unbalanced, to say otherwise is wrong.
Allowing groups to solely stomp non-grouped players, which is what happens in EC exclusively, also kills any chance of a competitive scene, which should be the primary goal of being grouped.
I do see a handful of Guilds that seem to desire Guild on Guild match making, but my experience of EC, when comparing to other PvP games, is that the overall intention is to hold onto unbalanced match ups.
The short-sighted attitude in EC is astounding!.
I'm gonna say this though, your either Ignorant or Invested if you are one of those advocating the current match making.

Eternal Crusade is only an MMO because the developers insist that the world map qualifies as a persistent world.
