What about Soul Drinkers, Executioners and Scythes of The Empire? I would love to see them in the game.
they are basically angry marines, but angrier, get shit done instead of swearing incessantly, and most importantly--they are cannon XD
Black templars being mainstream isnt a bad thing--and really? ultras, dark angels, space wolves, and blood angels are all FAR more mainstream than BT's. (granted they are first founding chapters, but still.)
Guys, remember that every chapter is one of many, among the Emperor's Angels of Death. Do not let find yourselves wanting, brothers! Black Templars definietly. Why? Because they are ETERNAL CRUSADERS. And they wuoldn't miss oportunity to kick some arses like here.
You're assuming Salamanders isn't the 5th planned Chapter. Ultras = Mix of everything Blood Angels and Space Wolves for Close Combat Iron Hands for mech/etc Last spot could be Imperial Fists for Siege/Defensive Warfare or the Salamanders for a mix of range/melee with flamers that specialize in breaking/denying cover/etc. So...how is this different then the Space Wolves? Not saying it has to be but for an argument of their inclusion over a Founding Chapter...it's weak. I personally don't mind the BT but I don't feel they should be considered over another First Founding Chapter for various reasons, most notably their fluff. No Devastators nor Librarians comes to mind, and their aversion to working with ANYONE who uses Psykers anyway.
