In ~two years of watching the PS3 Space Marine community, we never saw a White Scars. Too bad, b/c they are awesome, but no one ever even tried to get a WS Chapter going really. I heard the Xbox guys had some White Scars once upon a time. I think maybe in a shooter people don't to wear a lot of white. I would think they'd need to have their bikes too. Iron Hands are another one that never really got off the ground. Two years and never saw an Iron Hands Chapter in a tournament. A couple times someone tried to get them going, but never saw it through very far. Salamanders were strong in the early days, but stopped playing in tournaments. There's potential there though. They were one of the first Chapters founded in the PS3 SM community. Black Templars have come and gone, back and forth, but they've actually been in tournaments too. Might be a good choice. Raven Guard is the 2nd oldest PS3 Chapter still going, still competing. Their one of the top PS3 Chapters for sure. Imperial Fists got going for awhile and broke up, never got into tournaments I don't think. I voted for Imperial Fists though, since Rogal Dorn is one of my favourite Primarchs.
Us xbox Salamanders are going strong, we're actually one of the more active chapters out there. If you sign up to War Eternal you'll be able to see/join some of the other xbox chapters including Salamanders though for joining my chapter I recommend going to our enjin site
I'm really looking forward to the Heresy book "Scars". If nothing else but to get an appreciation for Jaghatai that I developed for Perturabo.
Man, looks like I need to buy Space Marine for the PS3. I have it for PC, with most of the unlocks, and the multiplayer is dead.
The only reason I'd really get behind Black Templars is cause their whole thing is the "Eternal Crusade". I personally pick Raven Guard, just because I think it'd be cool to have some more stealth-based Space Marines
Behaviour Interactive would be mad not to have Black Templar's in the game. Equal points to Imperial Fists, but I can't vote twice.
I find the need to play in the Black Templar, because since they can be almost anywhere in the Galaxy and the game already called eternal Crusade. ^ ^
