OH go Black Templars ... my might have been over looked as a real codex but we have a strong following.
On any other day I'd pick the Black Templar. But I feel that a chapter that isn't one of the original legions, and doesn't use Psykers, is kind of out of place. So I'd have to pick Imperial Fists. (Rogal Dorn master race reporting in)
Blood angels assault and deepstrik specialists ,Space wolves assault specialists ,Black templar close combat specialists
Anyone else think that adding Black Templars first will be a bit... Useless? As many have pointed out we already have 2 very good CQC chapters, the Templars would make it 3 and another chapter would be better suited for verity. Can someone also explain the huge following the BT have? All I get is "Space religious knights on a crusade!" Seems a bit odd that they are liked so much.
A proper reason perhaps? Black and white and the name "Black Templars" isn't really giving me anything, I mean why not Red Templars if that's all it is?
no has to be black. black has that hard end sound and its monosyllabic, and it can relate to templar, as templars came out in the dark ages. its cool.
would you want to play as an awesome army that had versatility and amazing weapons but went by purple muchkins?
