to be honest im amazed that the EMPERORS CHILDREN are not in the starting 4, i would also choose world eaters,death guard over the iron warriors.
I believe the Undivided Legions were chosen so that the starting armies wouldn't be locked into a specialization, such as World Eaters all being Khorne devotees and almost all specializing in melee. In order to get rounded sub-factions, god-aligned legions were left out. Also, the idea about the 5th being a Warband seems like a great idea, they don't get much focus so including them in the game gives a chance to expand on lesser known factions.
i see, makes more sense then, 5th choice crimsom slaughter, Red Corsairs.a modern chapter turned chaos ? although Noise marines, Berzerkers, Plague marines, Thousand Sons, i do hope they appear somehow.
They are confirmed post launch, they also said they will add subfactions as time goes by. So everyones fave legion (along with god dedication that is also confirmed post launch) will come, we just gotta be patient.
would be nice but not possible since they are all rubrics or sorccerors following the great plan of Tzeench .we cant have legions/warbands devoted to a single god at launch it seems
