'Ave a proppa good fight, and shoot loads of dakka! But yeah, so long as I feel like I did well and my team puts up a good fight (and we don't get rofl stomped), then I'm good
Coordinate, win and to try and remember to teach newbs the fundamentals of teamwork instead of tearing them a new one. The game should really help out a lot with the latter more though instead of us having to do it's job while in the middle of a game. That said If I'm hungover or drunk, it all goes to shit.
I love being the one Khornate Champion on Zedek in front of the main doors with a chainaxe in hand and a stack of bodies around me. Otherwise I like the crazy events we've had in the past. Shieldwalls, Ork scrums, CSM sorceror cults, and all the awesomeness that is Eldar. There's never "nothing new" about each match which I really enjoy.
My goal lately has been to die as few times as humanly possible .... ive been really self critical of my mistakes and self analyzing as much as i can ..... my kill counts have come down but my win rate has been going up steadily and on the whole i find a 8-10 kills with only 1-2 deaths run much more rewarding than a 15-25 with just as many deaths .... plus its always fun knowing you lived long enough to wish you could throw your bolt pistol for a few damage cause you been out of ammo on tac for like 3 minutes ....
This. You get less kills, and you get less exp, but it's nice playing in a way that isn't as dumbed down as EVERY game expects of you. I always liked games where dying matters, the current game meta of "who cares if you die" apparent in almost EVERY shooter game is kind of..meh for me. Also, like he said, the day you get 20 kills with your Bolter Tac after only 3 deaths, and that's including those 5 melee player engagements you dueled and won...so good.
Don't screw up my veteran live, don't screw up my veteran live, don't sc.... WTF! ELDAR TANK! ONESHOT FROM BEHIND! PLASMAMETLTA WTF? (making thread about how OP X is) On a more serious note: Getting xp if not on my main, having fun on my main
