Better than another first founding chapter to me

I don't really care. I was just poking fun at the idea of letting the company come up with something "original".

Was sitting back thinking after reading a few of my 40k books, if nids are gunna be the npc race and with Eldar and Orks being player races, then perhaps a good idea for the fifth chapter would be the Deathwatch. Just seems to fit with all the Xenos that are gunna be about. Ok void shields are up hit me with your thoughts!

Deathwatch!!! You are a brilliant brilliant man!! How could I forget them, they'd be the best race for chapter for customisation since you could use your heraldic shoulder guard to pick whatever chapter you wanted...oh the endless possibilities...that said I wonder if they'd introduce a "tag" system where you can upload a YxZ image to use on banners/should plates.

My thoughts precisely, I voted for salamanders on the poll because they're awesome. But when i sat back and thought about it for the games best interest i believe the deathwatch would work better as a whole for the game. Everyone could get the chapter they want and be happy cuz they're a badass in the deathwatch!

Plus kraken heavy bolters.

Deathwatch would be a neat idea, since then we wouldn't have to fight over the 5th Chapter - we'd have them all! That said, they're suppose to be taken from each Chapter's finest, and if your Chapter gives you certain bonuses (such as better close combat strength for Blood Angels) then I'm not sure how they'd provide a balanced and fluffy bonus to the Deathwatch.

Bonuses for DW are vs Aliens. It'd make them good vs Orks, Eldar and Nids.

This page has quite a lot of information on the deathwatch and if you scroll down to the relics area, they have quite a lot of options for specialized weaponry, gear, and even hero characters. Below the relics section is appearance which says their armor can be highly personalized as well. So i think they would work pretty well as the fifth chapter.

DEATHWATCH FOR THE FIFTH CHAPTER!!!

I would not add Deathwatch as fifth chapther. But as a privilege for ''veterans'' and most experienced players. They could choose to join Deathwatch or travel further on their own chapter path.
