have fun limping around without grenades, a melee weapon, extra ammo, or your armor! lascannons are expensive.

I see a simple system for this. You can wield two weapons at once, if: - One is a One-handed Melee Weapon, and another is a Pistol. You can alternate between using the Pistol and Melee Weapon like in Space Marine, but cannot block (A lone One-handed weapon or a One-handed Weapon and a Shield would allow that, though) - You are wielding a Melee Weapon that counts as Two-handed, but is two One-handed weapons in reality. Here, I'm thinking Falchions, those things the Banshees use and SM duelists. It'll count as one weapon, but of course strike like where there two weapons. - One is a One-handed Melee Weapon, and you have the "True Grit" Perk, that allows you to use Basic Weapons as Pistols, with an accuracy penality. Done.
What happened to the ability to wield 2 different 1 handed weapons ,for example a power sword and a chain sword .
I dunno, is that necessary? I can see a SM using two Power Swords or one Power Sword and a Knife as a duelist, but a Power Sword AND a Chainsword? What does that apply to the game, that a combo-weapon Power Swords wouldn't? Double chainaxes for Berzerkers: Sure. But just two One-handed Weapons?...
A more flexible weapons loadout , a cheaper weapons loadout ,something that has existed in miniatures and people want to pull off in an MMO just because it bad@ss etc etc. Are those reasons enough.
