If it doesn't come to consoles i'm basically f****d. I do not have a PC. Alot of people are ignorant to the fact that not everyone has it, like it confuses them to no end why on earth we would play a shooter (even though the devs will slap you around for calling it that...'just a shooter') on a console. And then they ask 'Why?' to why ya don't have a gaming PC. Sorry real life gets in the way, much like the transmission going out in the wifes car at the moment. Saving for a house. Ya know stuff like that.
Nothing wrong with that at all. People have dedications or other costs to deal with which take up available free time and money. Whether EC comes to consoles is apparently up to Sony and Microsoft, and how they will deal with EC's business model and micro transactions according to Miguel. EC will undoubtedly come to PC first, consoles later.
Last things first. I don't think we will get anywhere with the whole 'pc master race' thing, so I won't speak to that any more. With the exception of being able to key bind certain things, I disagree on the controller topic. I have played competitive games on Pc and the Xbox and you can get the same amount of proficiency on one as the other. I may try and KB+M adapter the next time I play Halo or some other X-box shooter, but I am not convinced at all there is any advantage with the exception of key binds. Even with keybinds, how many do you need for a shooter? Shoot, aim, nades, if you are macroing movement and such, you are cheating any way, and that is a whole different topic.
Unless you are a daemon prince I don't know how anyone can control games with gamepad it's not comfortable at all. I prefare my keyboard and mouse. /signed | Master Race.
KB + M is superior for shooters and strategy games, but I've never been able to play racing, platforming, or fighting games with anything other than a controller.
