Steam Engine! Has me more tempted then Xbone or Ps4. We are for sure seeing this for PC so its a guarenteeded fit, can combine the upgradeability and longevitity of a gamering computer, will have better graphics then both consoles, i can still use my preference of a controller or use a KB/M if i really want to, and it comes out within the next few months, hopefully allowing them to work out any bugs and perhaps a price drop before EC is out in 2015. Plus then i could finally play all those Steam games i bought on sale that my Laptop can't handle Had to pick from the above i would go for Ps$ (ha not even going to change that) Edit: Though we should keep in mind this Form is based on the interweb(pc) and in every thread we have seen related to this there are a poor showing for console gamers vs. what im sure the real life stats will be.
PC of course, I don't even have a console I might buy a console if a lot of exclusive interesting games come out for it but so far I havent seen any
Question for the peasants (it's a joke don't get butthurt) console players, if EC don't get released on console, will you play it on PC? i know some people play on console because they can't afford a gaming pc, the question is for the people who has a decent pc and still play games on console.
I occasionally watch this video just to remind myself that mouse and keyboard is superior for shooters. This guy is using a mouse and keyboard adapter for the 360. He is so outclassing the other players to the point where they accuse him of hacking:
Yup, thats why aim assists were invented imo. You havent played a shooter until you played it on KB+M (and ive played a few on the console too). That being said if anything resembling aim assist is added to EC i dont see it getting really accepted well by the community.
I will probably end up with it for all three. Yes I will end up owning the next Gen consoles. I disagree that the LB+M is superior to a controller. Once you have enough time on either system, they can be equally matched. I probably have about the same amount of time on Xbox as I do my PC. And do fairly well on both. Not really into my PS or Wii. I don't buy into the PC master race thing, it was funny for a while (several years ago) not so much anymore, just like the 'bronie', umad bruh? and all that crap. But, to each their own I guess.
No, that isn't the case. In competitive cross platform play with any form of shooters PC with mice and keyboards were always on top. M+KB is simultaneously a lot quicker and a lot more precise than joypads, not to mention the vastly superior amount of binds available, and the genres that are possible with M+KB and not to controllers. Please see the video I embedded above, there are more examples but that video above is sufficient. Although that isn't to say that the keyboard is better in all aspects, joypads are better where analogue control is needed, eg flying and racing games. PC Master race was originally a joke. Then people took it seriously because they're idiots, and people reacted to it seriously because they're idiots. Now people are realizing again that it's a joke.

Given the general attitude and comments seen on these forums by a large number of members, that last point seems highly unlikely. More that they seem to try and excuse comments as jokes while believing it themselves.
