from a loota side i can say it takes a good time to get good with the dakka deffgun, but after you get yourself a plasma deffgun its pretty chill, all you gotta remember is that ork guns dont have accurancy
Well what I mean is even if you're playing shoota you'll still bash em with your fists! Tau won't do that. Theys too pitiful to fight proppa! Stormboys are pretty much the only way to get in some good choppin right now. They can do the job but sluggas are shit out of luck. Last thing here.... I know our animations are clunkier but, outside of the d-bash distance, I've personally never felt like I was losing because of them.
If you want to keep that feeling never play painboy, because of the hop the painboy does when he light attacks his weapon has a minimum range , that and because of the clunky animatons with the needle it takes lobger to swing than a chainsword
Ah, gone are the days i could hold B on Olypsis on my own as a Painboy. I guess it's all about the LSM Dream and the end justifies the means.
I wasn't even going to get into the Painboy issues. That's a different kettle o' squigs and it's much worse than our slugga boys roit now. Da big dok was a fun veteran before 1.3, I was liking him best for awhile, but now I barely touch the class.
I barely touch vetarans wut wif da whole wun loif fing dey 'ave currently. I take less risks and only brin' 'em out when a point ain't ova'run. Fer me at least, dey get az much done as a typical loadout, but giv da enemy lotz moar pointz fer killin' 'em. Why botha' wif dat hassle? Moight az well be a regular painboy, 'ave fun, and be useful wifout worries dat I iz gunna loze me wun and only speshul vetaran loif Though I usually be a pianboy. Nobody else much doez it and dey alwayz be needed. Stickin' orks wif needles ina nd outside uv combat be gud fun
I bring out my veteran painboy and then throw myself at a melee person. Melee people need to get more XP you know ? @Kaptain_K_Rool its gud ta find anuva Painboy 'round 'ere loadz a orkz dat needz 'ealin but none dat getz it itz a proppa orky healthcare krisis !!!
Oi! I be wun uv dem spiteful orks. I wuz tryin' me shoota vetaran out once in wun uv dem linear maps. I spawned at A roight so we cuuld try and hold it az da tima' went down az it wuz gettin' taken (we wuz roight close), but I wuz da last loif at A. No uvva' ork cuuld spawn dere anymoar so dey dun hoof'd it ta' B. I wuz alone az evaryone else wuz eitha' spawnin' at B, already in a trukk 'eadin' dere, er bein' picked off az we tried ta' hoof it dere. I decided ta' toss me vet off uv a cliff az I ran ratha' den let dem 'uumies wut were chasin' me get dem extra pointz Howeva' I also let enemies execute me in da middle uv combat ratha' den holdin' spacebar ta' die fasta'. If'n dey be busy executin' me dey ain't helpin' dere team and also anuvva' ork kan dun shoot 'em dead. Also dere be a slim chance sum ork will actshually pick me back up Healin' also rewards quite well. I get 3-4k jus' fer healin' orks wif dem syringes and tossin' dem healin' bombz
Uver boyz need 'Ealin. I like ta get in a fight almost dead, so i'z can get a feels fer ow dyin in two shots like an 'Eldar iz like. Ya learn 'ow ta survive like dat, ya can survive anyfing.
I'm curious about this, because an argument which is often levelled at Eldar and has been completely debunked is that their dodge animation is longer than the Space Marine one. It's not. It's just Eldar are smaller, so they're travelling further relatively, but not absolutely. So is it the same with Orks? Are their animations actually shorter/travel less distance, or does it just feel that way because Orks are a different shape? Has anyone done any empirical testing on this?
