i dont know to quote someone in a comment, but what Dakiaris said is 100% YES about the cosmetics, you said everything, chains/ropes holding armor in place would add soooo much personality to the armors, to make it feel like that armor has been used in many fights before and its barely holding together, that feeling that makes ork armor unique because each one is fixed in a diferent way was the meks dun give a fak, as long as it olds togetha u can still send sum dakka to da ummies! the faction specific cosmetics would be awesome too, im a goff player so to see the brutal looking black armors and bull-like helmets would be great but imo the bad moonz cosmetics would look like the best being da best o da shiny! maybe adding some bad moon shroulder plate(those that are literally a 3d bad moonz symbol but in your shroulder, not sure if thats warboss only tho) some evil sun racing flags here and there cuz red goes fasta! and other stuff like that would be extremely welcome
Agreed. At minimum we should look dirtier than we are. You ever seen an Ork that looks as clean and shiny as we generally do now? No! There's supposed to be dirt, dust, corroded metal, torn clothing. Our stuff is supposed to look weathered as hell, like the gear used in the Mad Max movies. Hell, even our Boyz are supposed to look more weathered, at least for the Nobs. There should be scars and staples and such to show that they survived long enough to become a Nob, like it's told in the lore. Instead we get a coat of warpaint, which isn't bad but could have been MUCH better.

Oh I know, truuuuust me I know. Like I said, we get shafted because Orks (and Eldar for that matter) have never ever really been a priority for them.
In terms of gameplay ork are pretty decent, some wonky controls with running, cover, and vehicles but pretty ok. They have the worst special weapons though, skip launcha, 'umie frier, torpedo axe. Its a bit baffling that these weapons are still in useless state after so long (even more that skip launcha was nerfed!) The stock weapons feel over all pretty good. Can't exactly gauge melee right now mostly because the meta right now heavily favors ranged, all factions are dealing with this issue in my opinion. Orks have a much wider selection of weapons to choose from, some ok some amazing. The only thing major missing is Burna'z not for the flame but for the arc welding, the melta equivalent for orks. A nice abundance of cosmetics ranging from pretty flash to tiny mushroom of why? Nothing exactly stands out though, many of the cosmetics are just reskins of another, I mean some reskins are decent like the pirate hats but cosmetics need that extra oomph like a feather, or the upcoming squigar. Overall Orks are not in a bad spot per say, but they could be in a better one.
I feel like they keep kicking us while were down but we adapt and find new ways to win...... cuz we'z orks an we made fo winning! Seriously tho i think our playerbase is in general just better and that's why we are always doing average or just above average, even with all the lack of stuff.
I voted Okay but I immediately regret not voting negative. Not to be the negative one but (as this thread has already made clear) Orks are the most (also Eldar) neglected faction around. I mean seriously, how long did it take again for Behaviour to fix the braced kannon reload? They simply don't care even though the average Ork player is way more dedicated to this game than LSM & CSM have. Because ork players do it for love for the Orks, not for some fucking, bullshit bolter porn.

Please don't go with the whole "we are better" mentality like the elves keep trying to do. We're not pansies that moan when punched, we're orks that roll with the blows and punch right back with whatever we have on hand! The elitist attitude is abrasive and serves no purpose. We are dedicated, yes, but I dare say that dedicated SM mains (the minority, the ones that don't come on the forum to whine like grots) are able to be our equals.
