  1. I'd support anything to get it to a roughly 50/50 balance between ranged and melee rather than the melee fest it is now!

    Tacticals need to be made a lot better, not just better at melee but better at killing in general. Tactical weapons need a buff to damage and possibly accuracy. Imagine you've just bought this game, you login, create a LSM/CSM character and then you go to use the standard bolter, the most iconic weapon in 40k. The underwhelming nature of the weapon would be a huge disappointment.

    New player: hey, my bolter doesn't hit anything and even when it does it barely tickles them.
    Vet player: yeah, didn't you know? Only heavy weapons or melee weapons are worth using in this game, oh and if you can see a JPA cahatacter anywhere that means you're inside their effective range so you might as well just hit redeploy.

    Sorry, why is it stupid? The company is still hiring I think and you probably go and find it on idk... their website maybe? Or just contact one of the devs about it if you can't find that!

    Playing as Ork, This patch it feels a lot better. After fix to our super stickbomb aoe and nerf to Melta it feels fairly balance in that regard. Sure Multi melta still burns trucks in seconds but they can't bring melta bombs and are slow in general so that is enough of a payoff for the power it brings and is far more manageable then it was with melta tacticals.

    What need balancing is Melee. I think there is problem with dmg done compared to ranged weapons (specially after SM armour buff), and melee system in general. They need to take into account that melee interrupt shooting and most points are small cramped areas where ranged weapons just don't kill fast enough, even with headshots or shooting in the back (unless extra back damage is only ork "feature"). Also RPS system isn't working with different weapons speeds. Another thing is sprint attack. Extra range should only be allowed after sprinting for at least 1 sec not just by holding sprint and spaming RMB. Regular melee attacks shouldn't be able to catch up to sprinting enemy or someone who just rolled away from you. Give ranged classes at least a chance to get away from melee.

    IF Range and melee combat is balanced around 50:50 then we can implement racial perks that tip scale in one area or the other to their favor.

    Ork better at melee, Eldar more mobile, LSM better range and CSM all rounder (or other way around/something else).

    No. Bolters are really good, you just don't know how to shoot and mod them. A vet player can go for 30 or more kills a match with a bolter so you're wrong.

    The loremaster at GW that they have to consult before doing things shot that idea down, so we can't pursue that route.

    Orks are broken as hell right now, dont try to play this off as if they arent.
