  1. "Zog me...me 'ead 'urtz" Sneektoof muttered as he roused himself from unconsciousness and grabbed at his head. All he remembered was threatening that Inkwizatah git and then a lot of pan, and now he woke up surrounded by the 'ummie gits. "Oh dat git finkz shez reel funn'ee huh. Well we'z will seez who'z gunna be laffin aftah I'z takez 'er zoggin 'ead!" This was not over, far from it, that hummie git was going to know first hand what happens to one that trifles with an Ork. Sneektoof took a look around him, Poncy Space Marines, if the hummie git was trying to kill him, she should have sent more boyz.

    "O'ight! Wiff wun ov you'z gitz ar furst?! Ay?!" Sneektoof shouted pulling out his KombiShootah and one of his oversized Stabbin' Knivez and glared at the hummies around him brandishing his weapons threateningly toward the lot of future trophies heads for him to take "ow bout you'z! You wantz ta troi yur lukk againzt Ol' Sneektoof?! Ow bout you'z ya ponc'ee 'ummie git?!!? KOME AN AV A GO IF YA FINKZ YUR 'ARD ENUFF!"

    Praxia approached the Ork and clamped a single foot down on him, effectively pinning him to the ground. Praxia looked down at the greenskin. "Silence you pathetic wretch! You won't be threatening anyone here..." Her sawblades spun for a moment to emphasize the point. "You belong to the inquisitor now and she is your warboss. And you will do as you are told or you will be disposed of as would any unruly ork within your culture."

    She paused. "We are not here to kill you... Not until you provide us a reason." She sighed, reasoning with such a brute seemed fickle, but if the inquisitor said they needed to work with the greesnkin... "Besides, you'll find plenty more good fights if you fight with us, rather than a single fight against us."

    Sneektoof glared at the colossal war machine that simply stomped on him. What made him even more infuriated was the fact that there was a runty hummie git in the machine, and she was yelling at him. Like he was just some dumb Grot and not a true Ork. This led to Sneektoof bringing his KombiShootah right toward the runty git in question. One pull of the KombiShootah and the runty ones head would be gone. Sneektoof growled angrily, his finger resting on the trigger. "NO RUNTEE GIT TELLZ ME WUT TA DO! NOT DAT STINKIN INKWISITAH AN' NOT YOU'Z!" but then the runty git brought up something that made the wheels in his head turning. If he fights with them, he'd be able to get more fights out of it. Possibly better fights then the one he was having now. And even better, he'd have a bunch of stupid gits around that won't try to kill him, but can die for him instead. And that meant he could get THEIR loot as well when they kicked it. A Win/ Win for Sneektoof, get more fights AND more loot out of all of this, and all he had to do was stick around with these insufferable hummies until they croaked, and then take their wargear for himself.

    It was quite the brainy plot

    He lowered his KombiShootah away from his former target, his face still scowling as he looked at her. "Den get da ZOG OFF ME AL'REDEE!" Sneektoof shouted at the hummie git in the giant killy machine as he grabbed the robotic foot and lifted it off himself. The Ork Nob rose back to his feet, glaring at the pilot in the eyes before he walked away. He pulled a Squigar from out of a pocket of his and used the Skorcha attachment on the KombiShootah to lite it. Which he then proceeded to place in his mouth and began toking on it.

    "I'z sirroundid by gitz I iz..."

    After landing Erika breathed a sigh of relief. Any safe landing to her was a relief. As she stepped out of the Valkyrie she was struck amazed by the crystalline world, her wonder broken by the knight's dueling in the distance. Looking around her environment, trying to take it all in, she heard an Astartes shout out his prayer. She'd never admit it out loud but declarations like that didn't sit well with her. She was grateful there were so many of these elite warriors present but they seemed to be a breed apart from anyone else.

    @GobMaw_HellSmasha @Shadhunter
    Then she heard the brutish, unintelligent and crude way of speak that was all too familiar to her.
    There was an ork here. Among them.
    The realization of it made her sick and furious.
    She saw the size of the ork and by reflex lifted her rifle to firing position and drew a bead on Sneektoof's head. Erika's finger was already on the trigger when the penitent stomped on the xeno. From what Praxia said, it was evident that this ork was a santioned xeno. All her intentions about keeping to herself dropped in an instant.
    "WHAT?!"
    Erika shouted, she walked toward the ork furious, past Praxia even shoving her a little bit to make way, which didn't seem to do much to the engine's stature.
    "ORK?! SANCTIONED?!"
    She pointed her gun to the orks head, but few meters apart from Sneektoof. The weapon shook in her hands from all the sudden adrenaline and anger.
    "Nothing good comes of this filth! Nothing! And you are going along with this?! It will backstab us the first chance it gets, we should burn it to ash right now!"
  5. @Wata

    Sneektoof lazily turned around to see an even runtier hummie pointing their gun at his face. His eyes half open, he took the Squigar out of his mouth and blew smoke right into the runty gits face, only for him to put it back into his mouth a moment afterwards. "Wutz dis den?" the Ork Nob muttered as he continued chewing on his Squigar. The gun in the runty ones hand was shaking about wildly, like a Grot with a Sluggah. Sneektoof didn't perceive this one as any bit of a threat. He grabbed the gun and hoisted it up in the air to look at this git face to face. "Well arentz you'z a runt'ee wun ey?" He muttered, smoke billowing out of his toothy maw as he spoke, "I'z told you'z gitz aintz gunna try ta zog me if I fightz fer ya, and 'ere you iz, tryin ta zog me. An you aintz even doin a gudd job ov dat" Sneektoof was getting ancy for a fight, but he could tell he wouldn't get much of one out of this git.

    He dropped the gun and the git and went back to chewing on his Squiggar. He took the time to take a look around him at the environment. Shiny rocks. Might need to loot them later. Otherwise, pretty damn boring. What else was there...two big Killy Death Machines fighting each other over a bridge, now that got his attention. He crossed his arms as he looked at them in amusement as they were locked in combat. He knew what he wanted to do. Only thing was waiting to see if these hummies had the brains to keep up with his brainy way of thinking.

    "O'ight, wiff wun ov dese two Killy fingz we'z gunna be takin?"

    "Thank you servant of the Omnissiah my I also requisition this extra skull probe for another eye in the sky and can you somehow put what it sees onto my helmets Hud?" Catherine asked before leaving the armory with her gear she had for the mission.

    Upon entering the hanger and having the inqusitor drag in a ork of all beings that was to her surprise protected by the emperor under the inquisitors word had somewhat taken down her mood a notch or two. Loading up silently into the thunder hawk she strapped on her helmet and loaded her sniper rifle she kept her rifle ready and her bolt pistol close.

    As they began flying towards the planet if one could listen closely they could hear Catherine praying her left hand going over where her missing eye would be at the end of the prayer before she went silent again. As the Thunder hawk open Catherine was amazed by the world she saw Alien to the hive worlder in her and the sister of battle amoungst her years of experience she had never seen a world like this it was quite breath taking to her.

    Taking a step off the thunder hawk she took out her mangoculars and grabbed some of the gear from her back pack to get a better view of the forces fighting it out on the bridge. Taking out a pict recorder for recording some of the battle. "First view of unknown forces planet side Seems to be a mix of xeno and unknown equipment, Knight like machines fighting on the bridge of been spotted suggest anti armor and heavy weapons if running into them. We will attempt to make closer look at forces soon. Catherine out." Catherine said as she began finishing taking her first shots of both forces putting her pict recorder on her helmet she turned back her face now in a grimace as she heard the ork challenging them to a battle Luckily Praxia handling the situation fairly well.

    Then there Steel legionnaire was having quite a logical rationalization of the ork amounst them and a safe assumption that would make sure Catherine have her watching the ork. Turning around from the distance of the battle with initial recordings taken she looked over to the seen but stopped for a moment looking to a purple crystal bush, Taking a small crystalline sample she stored it in her backpack along with other parts of her gear before putting her magnoculars onto her belt.

    @Wata
    "Thats quite a logical assumption you have there Erkia, Maybe thats one of the reasons why you were also picked for this squad to help us watch our backs from within with this... Xeno that the Inqusitor had Sanctioned for this mission. While I do not know why the inqusitor sent a ork with us I can only assume her plans or reasons are well enough to bring this Xeno on this mission for with us."

    For a moment Catherine tapped her vox helmet to only Erka to hear her. "Maybe she sent it along to be a bullet sponge or distraction for enemy forces." Catherine said before turning off her Vox. "But for now we must Tolerate its presence among us and continue our mission Erika and until the inqusitor says other wise we must get back to our mission." Catherine said before putting her back pack back onto her back and began ready for a hike towards the battlefield and the bridges.

    "Think theirs some high ground I can take to be a bit more useful for his sniper and for spotting and providing over watch? If we have that mortar we could set up a small artillery spot to help cover us if we need to begin a fall back we can use some of the mortar to help deterre enemy forces while we relocate ourselves." Catherine suggested as she began looking for a path towards the bridges.

    When Sneektoof lifted her up, Erika swung her fist at his face several times, her attempts however missing. Once back on the ground Sneektoof turned his back. Erika dropped her rifle and grabbed a grenade. Her finger was already in the pin when Catherine opened a vox to her. Her reasoning was enough for Erika to understand the situation.
    "Emperor's bony ass!"
    Erika cursed and stashed the grenade. She picked up a crystal threw it at Sneektoof, which didn't do much either, just an amusing "ploink" as it bounced off the ork.

    @Shadhunter
    She picked up her rifle and now faced Praxia, moving closer to her.
    "You should have killed it. This won't end well."
    Erika said, feeling defeated and betrayed.

    Praxia lowered herself so she was just slightly above eye level with the Guardswoman. "I thought about it... I truly did. But until it becomes truly necessary to slay the Ork... it won't be worth the repercussions. Best to obey your orders until it is necessary to deviate from them in cases like this. Trust me on that one. I wound up here because of that reason."

    "You need not fear such a creature they are dim of wit and slow of mind. You will be able to see him coming before he decides to make his move, if he ever does. Besides, you have your brothers and sisters to look to here. Trust in us and the Emperor and all will go according to his will."

    "And don't look at yourself as though you are a simple expendable Guardswoman. For all I see here are equals who have been tossed into a maelstrom of chaos and confusion with no one to rely on but each other. And truly, if you ever feel you are not strong enough to bear the burdens you are given, call upon us. I shall not hesitate." Praxia stated with a nod.

    Whilst the landing itself was considerably less eventful than she'd hoped and she hoisted up the duffle bag of grenades before stepping out.
    And in her sight, she saw the glorious Knights; clad in adamantium plating and with glorious colouration upon their armour, weaponry firing with flashes of power. It was quite obvious how she was in true awe over such machinery. Even their motions weren't bland, sluggish movements like what those of the Mechanicum may have, or Astartes dreadnoughts.

    She eventually managed to shake herself out of her stupor, though that was coincidentally when she'd heard the ork.

    Ork.
    ORK.
    ORK
    ORK

    Almost immediately she dropped the bag and hoisted her Hellgun, swinging around and taking aim upon it
    "Where the hell did THAT come from?!" She hissed through her helm, sliding to one knee. The fortunate part was in the slight distance that they had; he at least wasn't right beside her just yet, and she certainly would fire if he was.

    Apart from the cocky pilot, the landing was pretty uneventful, which was perfect for it gave Agate more time to prepare, rousing the machine spirits of its tools all the while being in communion with priestly overlords and the rest of the Secutarii maniple.It went without digital confirmation that Omega maniple wont deploy, its brothers/sisters rather staying in permanent guard-cycles rather then to deploy to an active warzone without their Alpha.

    With a sensitive jab of inertia that spoke more of the pilot`s skill at guiding this vehicle then anything else, Agate disembarked onto the strange new world.

    However it did not had the luxury of marveling the alien landscape, as its Omnispex immediately detected movement in relative viscinity and thermal discharges to where the strategically important bridge was.Unwilling to break the Imperial Fists`s reverie, Agate dedicated its advanced helmet optics to the task at hand, its sophisticated lenses whrlling in and out, magnifying by several times in a effort to scrutinize as much detail as possible.

    Already in his mind, the noospherical implant was getting hot from the amount of data-transfer to and fro orbit.The walkers that seemed to be locked in combat with each other, were disturbingly similiar to the Knight-pattern ones, and Secutarius Alpha being a sort of an expert on giant walkers, could confirt that indeed a certain presence, if not of humans, but human tech is confirmed, giving credence to previous orbital surveys and scanners.

    @ItsTime
    "I am ready to move. I however advise caution for this planet has an unfamiliar environment to me, avoid it's fauna and flora, for both could be deadly."

    As if a spell was lifted from it, Agate turned around, seeing a golden giant by its side was finished with his ritual.The silent buzz of his power armor and sounds of well-oiled gyros was most reassuring to Agate.The later leaning on its, taller-then-him Arc-Lance (that was inactive) and pointing with his left,metal-engrossed hand to the far-of bridge, Agate added:
    "From what I can glean, it seems the walkers sport unknown to us weaponry with exotic energy discharges.As for the native fauna it seems to be docile.From what I can tell, the joints in their legs are a structural weakness."

    As one of the system`s two binary stars was setting on the horizon, the angle of evening light was reflected of one of myriad of what appeared to be crystal trees, casting the entire view of the battlefield in different shades of purple and gold.

    Turning away, its Greko-Romanii helmet giving away some of the metal sheen cast in alien purple, Agate walked into the second aircraft that carried the rest of the group that was deemed too heavy to be flown in Valkyrie.The clamour of a heated infight from the second aircraft threatened to eclipse the din of the distant battle, and so Agate walked onto its disembark ramp, its piston-powered gait revebrating through the metal hull of the vehicle.

    Already very knowledgable of the situation with the xeno - though the omniscience of Machine God - Agate stood looking at the situation as it developed.For a moment, the Alpha was already weary of the group composition, realizing they are a poor substitute for its perfectly synchronized shield-wall maniple.

    Opening the squad-vox with a blink-click, it spoke:

    "Unknown environment reached.We already have a xeno-activity in the area." Agate added, and for a moment it was not a living weapon as the emotions flooded back, filtered though the phylactic-communion and through the psychosurgical suppressions, they still presented as an intoxicating rush. Agate felt the conflicted warmth of concern, of relief and satisfaction.
