Ironically, the feedback that is most valuable to consumers (and least valuable to developers) are issues with balancing and performance. This tells potential consumers that maybe they should wait. Like, don't buy the game yet, or buy it only if you have a monster PC. It doesn't mean that the game sucks nor that it will fail. Yet the fanboys go crazy if you ever dare mention it. They want to "tear a new asshole" to people who mention this. This is why the OP is frustrated with the "it's just alpha!" excuse. I mean yes the game is technically in alpha but the community does not seem to know what that means (maybe nobody bothered explaining it?).
I can fully agree with this. I can understand if you get frustrated in that context. I myself tell people to not buy the game right now and wait if they are not interested in the development of the game. Though a lot of reviews for example I see on Steam really need to be told that it is still earlyaccess... *shrug* That's what i mean with valuable aswell.
Real talk. Early Access does not mean Alpha. Early Access is pretty much a paid beta. Simple as that.
Well, we are lucky that all factions need a human model acting out the movements. Well, we are lucky that is all the same work on alll virtual models of all factions. Well, we are lucky that this applies to all factions and not only some of them. Tell me, what is the biggest difference in programming SM, CSM, Eldar and Orks? It's like working with cars. Oh sure, every model is different, but in the end it's still always a car. It's all the same parts on all cars, they just look differently.
